Situation

Background Information
An undercover CIA operative who exposed ION PMC’s illicit activities has been compromised and captured inside Las Cuvas. ION forces are searching the agent’s equipment for sensitive files that directly prove ION’s wrongdoing and are preparing to destroy this evidence. By direct order of the President of the United States, this mission is authorized to rescue the operative, secure the files, and collect additional proof before ION’s quick-reaction force arrives. Supporting Assets
No friendly or independent support is available until hard evidence of ION wrongdoing is secured. Upon verification, one AH‑64 Apache will be provided. A limited cruise‑missile capability exists and may be employed only with explicit authorization and as a last resort.

Enemy Forces
ION’s regional site is on full alert following the insider’s capture. A large, well-trained security force defends the compound with extra guards, heavy weapons, and rooftop overwatch. The adjacent vehicle depot houses armored vehicles and troop transports under constant guard. This site also hosts ION special forces, meaning some personnel may be highly skilled and capable of rapid response.


Mission

Tasking
Locate and extract the compromised CIA operative and secure the sensitive documents that directly implicate ION before enemy forces can destroy or tamper with them. Optional task: Eliminate all ION high-ranking officers located in the housing area.

End-state
VIP and documents secured; all ION officers eliminated.


Execution

Commander's Intent
The purpose of this mission will be to HALO drop into mountain valley above ION HQ. At all costs to rescue captive CIA agent and recover his intelligence packet from where he hid it. ALL CALLSIGNS must maintain stealth until DAGGER 1 assaults the ION HQ.

Tasks and Sequencing
A) 1. DAGGER 1 Will HALO into the AO via Osprey, south of the ION HQ compound on the mountain top valley. 2. Flight zone has been marked with Red, Orange, and Green lights on the map. 3. The boxed off LZ Blue is 2025m above sea level. The recommended ASL to pull the parachute for this HALO jump will be 2250m (If the paratrooper is not confident in their HALO jump skills they may open their chute around 2350m). 4. DAGGER 1 Will be assigned numbers by fire teams before mounting onto the Osprey. Backpacks must be put on-chest, steerable parachute equipped, and altimeters equipped. 5. When the light turns green for the HALO jump, DAGGER 1 will mostly be in air around boxed off LZ Blue, once in the air ALL CALLSIGNS must aim for boxed off LZ Green where there is a big patch of bushes and foliage that will be visible from the air, hopes to not get lost during the HALO jump. B) 1. Once DAGGER 1 has landed at LZ Green, they must regroup at RP Dawn. 2. From RP Dawn move to OP Day and plan out movement to POI-A maintaining stealth. 3. After DAGGER 1 has reached POI-A plan movement where they will continue to maintain stealth and reach ION HQ. C) 1. Once DAGGER 1 reaches the ION HQ they must do their best to silently infiltrate the HQ building and find the CIA Agent. If the situation goes LOUD before we can locate theCIA Agent, DAGGER 1 must expedite locating and securing the CIA Agent. Afterwards move to locate and secure the intelligence packet the CIA Agent hid. 2. During the mission combat engineers of DAGGER 1 have been tasked to place charges on ION assets that may cripple their operation. 3. Once all objective have been completed DAGGER 1 will RTB via Black hawk. D) 1. ASSASSIN 1-3 Will be inserted by foot prior to the mission and trek to OP Primary. Where they will be able to provide over watch and fire support on the North of ION HQ compound. 2. ASSASSIN 1-3 Can decide if they want to RTB with DAGGER 1 at the HQ Building or go back through the wilderness on their own.


Administration/Logistics

Resupply
ALL CALLSIGNS will cross the LD fully loaded according to the units SOP. These supplies will come from the staging area. This basic load is expected to sustain the team throughout the mission, without support.
