Situation
Background Information
During a reconnaissance mission deep behind enemy lines, a german bundeswehr scouting element was preparing to return to base via helicopter extraction before they lost communication with the pilot, who then veered too closely to the scouted enemy anti-air installations and was shot down.
Now, unable to get in contact with their headquarters, the platoon scavenge what they can find from the downed friendly aircraft as they are left with no choice but to assault the enemy anti-air and locate a potential enemy radio jammer in the region that is seemingly blocking their signals, before they can extract from the ao for good...

Mission
Execution
Commander's IntentThe intent of this mission is to re-open the air corridor covering the South-East peninsula to facilitate the extraction of reconnaissance element Kilo, by destroying anti-air and electronic warfare units, while exploiting targets of opportunity to disrupt the enemy's ability to conduct operations on the frontline.
Tasks and Sequencing
Our previous extraction plan has failed, and radio communication is patchy at best. Hostile forces are not fully aware of our presence but are on guard. Kilo shall take initiative and strike out at priority and opportune targets before attempting to extract at the designated landing zone, November. After contact with the enemy has been made, Kilo will need to act fast and exploit the chaos to engage all listed objectives. Objectives Alpha and Delta are deemed as priority targets as they affect our ability to withdraw from the area of operations. The general movement plan is to follow the marked blue routes, setting up observation posts outside objective areas and assaulting objectives in the following phonetic order; OBJECTIVE ALPHA (PRIORITY) A dug-in fighting position with anti-air artillery covering the South-East peninsula. Responsible for downing the initial friendly extraction helicopter. Tasking: • Destroy Anti-Air systems and emplacements • Neutralise observers and sentries OBJECTIVE BRAVO A small supply depot, used for moving logistical packages to enemy units around the forward line. Tasking: • Destroy munition caches • Destroy enemy ground transportation capability OBJECTIVE CHARLIE A large helicopter base, with logistical support units. Used as a forward deployment area for attack aircraft conducting strike missions against friendly units. Tasking: • Destroy rotary-wing assets • Destroy logistical assets OBJECTIVE DELTA (PRIORITY) An enemy rear garrison, host to electronic warfare equipment and SIGINT units hampering friendly radio communications in the region. Tasking: • Destroy electronic warfare devices • Destroy communication relays • Neutralise enemy garrison OBJECTIVE ECHO A small hamlet located to the North of the planned extraction point, it is unclear whether these positions are occupied by enemy forces or by another actor. Tasking: • Investigate the hamlet for signs of enemy forces • Neutralise any combatants if present • Ensure passage South is clear to allow for safe extraction Kilo will need to be dynamic with movement planning, as enemy forces may begin conducting search parties to locate them. So long as the two priority objectives are met, Kilo shall be able to extract from the area of operations at LZ November, after re-establishing radio communications with command on Frequency 87.00MHz (VHF) (Debrief will be conducted in Teamspeak)
Administration/Logistics
ResupplyNo logistical support or planned resupply is scheduled, in the event that standard ammunition loads are depleted, friendly elements are permitted to acquire enemy equipment and munitions appropriate to their role
Medical
No MEDEVAC plan is available until friendly units re-establish radio communications with command and are within short distance of the pre-planned landing zone, designated November

The enemy force has signal intelligence and electronic warfare units within the area of operations, expect frequent radio communication blackouts, especially in the vicinity of Objective Delta. In the event that radio communication fails, standard procedure will involve all friendly elements remaining within verbal range to each other, with additional coloured smoke signal references as listed below. SMOKE COLOUR INDICATION CHART: GREEN = OBJECTIVE CLEAR (All enemy contact has been cleared inside the objective area) YELLOW = RALLY POINT (Break contact and immediately rendezvous with friendly units at the position of the deployed smoke) BLUE = REQUIRE ASSISTANCE (Friendly unit requires assistance, for example, clearing fortified enemy structures or installations) PURPLE = REQUIRE MEDICAL ASSISTANCE (Friendly unit requires medical assistance, at least 2 immediate casualties requiring attention)
