Situation
Background InformationWith the recent Russian annexation of Virojoki and hostilities in the Norwegian fjords, the Finnish defence force has been tasked with regular checkups and patrols of key industry areas and ports. LION is tasked to patrol the southeastern area of Virolahti.

Friendly Forces
Motorised infantry squad self driven in 2x MTLBs Imbedded combat engineer's with stored shotguns for breaching,CQB and drone defence. Additional capability to destroy obstacles and caches.
Supporting Assets
2x F/A 18s are in the region while conducting air superiority patrols. Tasking via NORTHSTAR if need for urgent CAS.
Enemy Forces
Russian forces are illegally occupying the Virojoki but no current conflict has taken place. No other know enemy of hostilities in Finland but significant PMC hostilities in Norway possibly Russian backed. PMC forces in Norway have been using ports and civilian business and infrastructure to smuggle weapons/personal into Norway.
Mission
TaskingConduct routine checks on key industry and ports as part of regular increase security due to Russian aggression. At each area ensure you the following: 1. Talk with site manager 2. For industrial area ask for business type and any relevant documents. For ports ask for recent manifests 3. Inspect all areas and buildings 4. Talk to locals/workers about suspicious activity. 5. If no concerns move on rapidly no need to hang around. 6. Get back ASAP in time for the Sauna

Commander's IntentOur intent is to execute our routine patrol of the south eastern coast of Virolahti and its important industrial plants and ports.
Tasks and Sequencing
Lion will mount 2 MT-LBs and drive along the planned route dismounting at objectives. MT-LBs must maintain effective aircover while stationary. Order of objectives will be: OBJ "Appelsiini" OBJ "Banaani" OBJ "Greippi" OBJ "Kirsikka" OBJ "Luumu" OBJ "Omena" OBJ "Meloni" Due to recent events of gas attacks in Norway, LION will carry all nessecary NBC equipment. Any suspected PMCs or other russian agents must be apprehended by neccesary force.
