--- OPERATIONS ORDER ---
Situation
Background InformationDays after the Wganar attack on the ski resort and the counter assault on the harbour, a Finnish Defence Force squad remains based in the region. Their role is to support humanitarian operations and provide security at the port, ensuring that no further Wganar forces are able to pass through it. However, intelligence gathered during a Special Forces mission inside Russia has revealed that an invasion is planned. Intelligence analysis has assessed (insert squad name) location as a low-priority target for any initial Russian landing. Based on the intelligence available, high command expects your operation to be complete before the invasion begins and as a result, high command has not allocated immediate reinforcements to your location. For now, (insert squad name) remains alone, providing security for humanitarian forces as they carry out the evacuation.

Tasks and Sequencing
Overview
Phase 1
Main task: Screen
Secondary task: Delay
The first phase will see Lion activities in the vicinity of Nordkil. Lion 1-1 will assume a more permanent monitoring position, whereas Lion 1-2 will act as a mobile security element - their main task is to ensure security of our withdrawal route to the south. Lion 1-2 should be ready to support Lion 1-1 if need be. To note, Lion 1-1's position is not meant to be a defensive position from which the enemy is delayed for long. It is crucial that Lion 1-1 does not get fixed in position, but that they maintain the capability to disengage at will.
IMPORTANT - All sighting of potential enemies must be communicated ASAP to unit command. Field Leader, or his 2iC, will communicate threat levels to Northstar, and recommend withdrawal of IDAP forces as soon as confirmed OPFOR contact is made.
Phase 2
Primary task: Delay
The second phase will be initiated when the situation in Nordkil risks becoming uncontrollable. Lion will rally at the designated rally point, then move through successive bounds southwards, always ensuring good mutual support and appropriate operational distances throughout. Should there be opportunities to delay the OPFOR during movement, this should be exploited - however, such exploits shall not be done if it risks unit integrity. Lion 1-1 assumes BP Drage, whilst Lion 1-2 assumes BP Tiger. This position will be held as long as is tenable, in order to allow IDAP forces to evacuate successfully.
Phase 2
Primary task: Delay
Upon successful IDAP evacuation, the task becomes: Withdrawal
Phase 3 will see Lion move through a series of battle positions. Movement will be through successive bounds. Primary task is to delay, allowing IDAP forces to successfully withdraw, whilst keeping a flexible defensive posturing that allows for adjustments where needed.
