--- OPERATIONS ORDER ---
Situation
Background InformationFinnish civilians trapped within Russian-occupied Finnish territory have provided valuable intelligence on enemy aircraft, forward operating bases (FOBs), vehicle storage sites, and approximate anti-aircraft (AA) positions. However, these military assets are deliberately embedded within civilian infrastructure. Russian forces have prevented civilians from evacuating, likely using the local population as a deterrent against large-scale air or artillery strikes. To slow the Russian advance while minimizing civilian casualties, precision strikes are required. A small Special Forces team will conduct a HAHO insertion into the designated area. Their primary objective is to eliminate identified AA threats before marking priority targets and coordinating precision airstrikes by three F/A-18 Super Hornets against enemy aircraft, FOBs, and vehicle storage locations. Note from LGM This is a one-life mission. If caught or killed there will be no reinserts. This mission has no pre determined or “scripted” outcome. What happens will be as a direct consequence of players actions and Skill If stealth is maintained

Friendly Forces
3x F/A 18 Super hornets. (Ensure you are familiar with the F/A 18 mod.) Armed with GBU and Maverik missiles 1x C130 for infil. A weapons/Ammo and vehicle stash is located at 1671-1608 coordinates inside the AO. ATVs, Bikes and Civilian cars are available from here for movement inside the AO. A supply of civilian clothing are also available. A medical helicopter has been left unlocked at 1518-1417 as an exfil option.
Supporting Assets
Rescue and recovery teams are on standby for ejects in/over No mans land and friendly territory only. Any Operations within enemy occupied area are unsupported.
Enemy Forces
Full Russian military with EW warfare capabilities, Chemical warfare and air capability. Likely to be "police/Patrol forces in civilians areas. This area is a good distance behind the frontlines and is more a supporting region. The only enemy air support is located at the airfield and a potential helicopter base in the north of the town. Once these facilities are disabled we don’t anticipate any further air threat. However unexpected threats may arise depending on how the mission progresses.
Mission
Tasking1. Enter AO VIA HAHO 2. Locate Vehicles and supply's pre staged in the AO. 3. Destroy 3x AA emplacements 4. Once AA threat eliminated engage military targets in the AO following below priorities. Priority targets in order: - Aircraft - Artillery - Armoured vehicles - Supply's - Defences - Confirmed military housing A target should not be engaged if it would destroy civilian infastructure or engager lives. However some element of risk vs reward should be taken.
End-state
ENDEX Will be called at the FLs choice. They are free to complete as many or as little objectives as seen fit with a Max of 3 hours. However the below actions will yield the corresponding actions for future missions. - Aircraft destroyed: No OPFOR air capability for next 3 mission. - Artillery destroyed: No OPFOR Arty capability for next 3 mission. - Armoured vehicles destroyed: Limited OPFOR armoured capability for next 3 mission. - AA destroyed: No OPFOR AA capability for next 3 mission. - SF team killed or captured: No respawn for that player/Immediate counter attack on Finnish position. -Supply depot destroyed: No enemy NVGs for next 2 missions
Execution
Commander's IntentPurpose: Open the airspace above the occupied area and conduct precision strikes against Russian military capabilities while avoiding civilian casualties. Key Tasks: - Infiltrate the AO without detection. - Recover the vehicles and equipment stored at RENDEZVOUS FOX. - Locate and destroy all identified AA systems. - Identify and coordinate strikes against priority military targets. - Avoid unnecessary contact with enemy forces and prevent harm to civilians. - Disengage and exfiltrate before the enemy can establish an effective cordon. End State: The identified AA systems are neutralised, Russian military capabilities are destroyed or degraded, civilian losses are avoided, and the SF element successfully disengages from the AO.
Tasks and Sequencing
Concept of Operations
1) INFILTRATION
Objective: Enter the AO and recover the pre-positioned equipment without alerting Russian forces.
Actions:
- The SF element named VIKING conducts a HAHO insertion from the C-130 and lands within the marked LZ.
- All personnel rally at RENDEZ-VOUS ALBATROSS, alternatively at the contingency RENDEZ-VOUS ALLIGATOR if ALBATROSS has been compromised.
- Once assembled and combat-effective, the element moves through WAYPOINTS BEAVER, CAPYBARA, DEER and EAGLE toward RENDEZ-VOUS FOX.
- The element observes the cache area before approaching and confirms that it has not been discovered or placed under enemy surveillance.
- Vehicles, ammunition, civilian clothing and other required equipment are recovered from the cache.
- Civilian clothing and vehicles may be used at the FL’s discretion.
- Enemy contact is to be avoided wherever possible.
Phase 1 ends when the element is equipped and ready to move from RENDEZVOUS FOX.
2) POI 01
Objective: Locate and destroy the first AA system
Actions:
- VIKING moves from RENDEZVOUS FOX toward OVERWATCH GREYHOUND.
- METT-TC permitting, the marksman and one buddy establish an observation and support position at GREYHOUND.
- The remaining members of VIKING manoeuvre toward WAYPOINT HEDGEHOG and identify a suitable approach to POI 01.
- GREYHOUND observes the objective, reports enemy and civilian movement, and provides early warning to the manoeuvre element.
- The manoeuvre element infiltrates the position and destroys the AA system, preferably without raising an alarm.
- GREYHOUND remains concealed unless directed to engage or intervention is required to protect the manoeuvre element.
- Following neutralisation of the AA system, METT-TC permitting, other targets of opportunity at the airport may be engaged. Priority targets would be air assets present at the airport.
- All personnel disengage and regroup before continuing south.
Phase 2 ends when the AA system at POI 01 is confirmed neutralised and VIKING has successfully displaced.
3) POI 02
Objective: Destroy the remaining AA system
Actions:
- VIKING moves toward OVERWATCH IGUANA while avoiding known blockades and unnecessary movement through populated areas.
- From IGUANA, VIKING conducts reconnaissance towards POI 02, and - METT-TC permitting - POI 03.
- METT-TC permitting, POI 02 and POI 03 are neutralised simultaneously or in rapid sequence with assistance from TEMPEST. If only one POI may be attacked, priority will be POI 02.
Phase 3 ends when all identified AA systems are confirmed incapable of engaging friendly aircraft.
4) POIs 04-09
Objective: Destroy or degrade priority Russian military capabilities within the remaining operational constraints.
Actions:
- TEMPEST remains outside the assessed AA envelope until cleared to enter by VIKING.
- VIKING establishes observation on relevant POIs from JACKAL, KANGAROO or another suitable position.
- Targets are engaged according to the aforementioned priority hierarchy.
- Viking will always seek to displace between strikes to avoid detection and enemy reaction.
- Additional targets will only be engaged where time, ammunition, civilian risk and the condition of the team permit.
Phase 4 ends when the FL orders disengagement or determines that further strikes would create unacceptable risk.
5) EXFILTRATION
Objective: Disengage from the enemy and preserve the SF element. Actions: - VIKING breaks contact and moves toward the most suitable extraction option. - The helicopter at POI 10 may be used assuming the helicopter remains operational until EXFIL and the hospital area can be approached safely. VIKING will not become decisively engaged solely to reach the helicopter. - If helicopter extraction is not viable, VIKING will use available vehicles or move on foot toward the no man's land. - Known blockades at POI 07, POI 08 and POI 09 are to be bypassed unless engagement is necessary to enable extraction. - TEMPEST will throughout this phase be ready to provide urgent close air support if required. Phase 5 ends when ENDEX has been called and VIKING has successfully exfiltrated.CONTINGENCIES
Compromise during infiltration: Break contact, disperse, rally at RENDEZ-VOUS ALLIGATOR. Cache at FOX unavailable: Continue with carried equipment where feasible. The FL will determine whether the mission remains viable. Loss of communications: VIKING meets at a designated RALLY POINT. If no specific RALLY POINT is designated, RENDEZ-VOUS FOX. If FOX is compromised, alternate rally point will be RENDEZ-VOUS ALBATROSS. Loss of combat effectiveness: VIKING disengages and EXFILs.Administration/Logistics
ResupplyA cache at FOX. Otherwise no organised logistical support expected during this mission.
