--- OPERATIONS ORDER ---

Situation

Background Information
Nationalists have been attempting to rally citizens against the UEF cause. Zelenogorsk has been a hub of such activity, utilising a nearby TV and Radio tower for propaganda and the train yard for bringing in weapons and supplies to arm the citizens. The UEF need Zelenogorsk secured in order to use the supply depot therein to supply a new FOB location on the South coast. Since we don't have intel on Nationalist numbers in Zelenogorsk, the beginning of the mission will be conducted under the cover of stealth at night, in order to reduce the time the Nationalists have to prepare their defences against us.

Friendly Forces
1x Light Infantry Platoon 1x Mechanized Support Section 1x MQ9 Reaper 1x Global Hawk

Supporting Assets
Not applicable in this Area of Operations.

Enemy Forces
Nationalists are hidden among Zelenogorsk and likely have a defence plan organised. Expect tough fighting if engaged in the streets. Some Zelenogorsk civilians may have become radicalised against us and may join in the fighting; you are however not to punish the unarmed civilians for this, as you may end up turning more against us.

Mission

Tasking
UNITAF is tasked with dismantling Nationalist efforts to rally civilians against the Ukraine Expeditionary Force's cause. In close proximity to the city of Zelenogorsk is a large TV broadcast tower and a communications tower. The broadcast tower is using Nationalist propaganda to rally citizens and needs to be taken offline. The comms tower may allow the Nationalists to call in reinforcements if not disabled before the main push into Zelenogorsk. We also believe there to be a Nationalist FOB to the South of the city but are not sure of the exact location. Nationalist supplies and arms that are being passed to civilians from the train yard are to be confiscated. Primary Tasking -Take out TV tower to prevent propaganda. -Take out Communications tower to prevent reinforcements. -Secure Trainyard and confiscate supplies. -Sweep Zelenogorsk of Nationalist presence. Secondary Tasking -(optional) Disable power at relay station to reduce effectiveness of Nationalist defence. -Find information on source of Nationalist weaponry.

End-state
Return to Johnston Airbase
