Situation

Background Information
A UEF SigInt unit has caught wind of a POW hand-off in the far South-East of Nationalist-controlled Chernarus. It is believed that Nationalist defectors with valuable intel on secret projects are being handed over to a foreign asset with unknown intent. The hand-off is scheduled to occur under the cover of darkness from the island of Skalisty. NATO command does not want the POWs being used for leverage or for what they know to be disseminated to foreign assets, thus UNITAF will deploy to capture them.

Friendly Forces
1x Special Operations Squad outfitted with diving gear. 1x C-130 Hercules fixed wing transport.

Mission

Tasking
UNITAF Spec Ops teams will HALO drop with diving gear into the sea off the East coast of Skalisty island. Proceeding underwater to maintain stealth, they will approach the island and locate the POWs. The hand-off will occur some time after UNITAF deployment (exact time to be communicated at STARTEX), and teams may decide to intercept during prisoner transport. UEF sigint determined the POWs are being held in a Nationalist Holding Camp on the North side of the island and that hand-off will be done via the water. The prisoners have valuable intel on Nationalist secret projects about which NATO and UEF commands are keen to learn; however if safe extraction of them is rendered impossible, any requests to terminate them must be fielded through mission HQ- the prisoners must not fall into the hands of the foreign power. Exfil will be via commandeered boat (Exfil Red) or truck (Exfil Blue). Teams are to bear in mind enemy checkpoints are likely so disguise will be necessary for travelling on land or near the coast. Primary Tasking -Secure and exfil captured Nationalist Defectors from Skalisty Island. -Obtain intel on foreign power and workings of Nationalists. Secondary Tasking -Deny local Nationalist assets where possible; -Sabotage Nationalist communications tower on Skalisty Island -Sabotage Kamyshovo Docks.
