Situation

Background Information
Intelligence officers have cracked the encryption of the mobile phone recovered from the deceased HVT during Operation Lost in Transit. We have successfully identified the deceased individual as Ervin Luka. We have also identified another suspected smuggler from recent call and chat logs. Rory Gray has been identified as a high value target and our mission is to capture him alive for Interrogation. Our allies in the Cape Rassan government have helped us trace his phone to a cave complex being used as a bunker by PACR forces on the South East of the island.

Enemy Forces
Hostile faction: PACR PACR are well-equipped and highly trained. Expect night-vision devices and stringent communication. Initial recon shows the bunker as heavily defended with nearby garrisons and vehicle depots.

Primary objective

Capture Rory Gray and extract him alive for questioning.

Secondary Objective

Sweep the bunker for intel and destroy any PACR weapon supplies.

End-state
As soon as Rory Gray is seized, Knight exfiltrates evading inevitable search parties and avoiding further escalation. Mission concludes upon arrival of a live HVT at Safehouse Ganymede.

Execution

Commander's Intent
Upon infil, Knight avoids contact as long as possible while executing a decisive move into the bunker complex to allow the HVT as little time as possible to escape. Leaders are expected to bear personal initiative to prevent any escape and enact a pursuit if required while ensuring the HVT stays alive.

Tasks and Sequencing

Phase 0

KNIGHT prepares a heliborne infiltration with KING. KING crews a suitable helicopter to insert KNIGHT at LZ HOLIDAY. Weapons state: RED

Phase CRADLE

KING RTB to crew an AH-6M for further scout and emergency response tasking. KNIGHT proceed to WP K1 for a preliminary eye-level scouting of the suspected HVT location, as able. Advancing past the phase line to cross the shallows towards WP K2 begins Phase Dipper / Lid.

Phase DIPPER / LID

Updated weapons state: ORANGE. Prior to an advance on the objective, KNIGHT manoeuvres around the bunker complex to find a suitable entry vector. Orientating by means of waypoints K2 through K4, the teams stay in mutual support. Encounters with patrols and sentries are permitted to progress with deadly force at command. Once a means of entry is determined, either 'LID' or 'DIPPER' is called and Knight reorganises at the respective line before breaching.
