Situation

Background Information
Continuing down the MSR, US Army Rangers aim to capture a IS held factory for future use and liberate the nearby town of Offar.

Supporting Assets
YNA forces on checkpoints and reinforcement garrison force on capturing the factory.

IS assets expected: - (VB)IEDS - APCs/IFVs

Mission

Tasking
Main objectives: Clear out enemy presence from; - the IS Factory - Abandoned COP - Offar and surrounding compounds. Secondary objectives: Suspected enemy Cave and compounds south of the riverbed from Offar

End-state
Mission complete on capturing the Factory with minimal infrastructure damage and clearing out enemy presence from Offar endex in the Factory.

Execution

Commander's Intent
Clear Abandoned COP, IS Factory and Offar along with surrounding areas.

Tasks and Sequencing
The vehicle elements will be attached to the squads. Where one vehicle crew supports each squad and works as their transport/logistics. We will push to Checkpoint Alpha on the road, dismount and push up to the COP. This will give us good eyes in the valley. We will then approach IS Factory and cycle round for the town of Offar and the caves to the south. If any major threats arise we have a Reaper drone in the air to assist. EOD is available to diffuse IEDs and similar threats, with EOD drone.
