Situation

Background Information
Arriving in the second wave on Gold Beach the 56th Infantry Brigade wades through the bodies of those who came before. The British, having already obtained a foothold on the beach are working on making it as difficult as possible for German reinforcements to re-take fortifications along the front. Due to the currents on the coast elements of the 56th are spread out wide along the beachhead. To survive we must be able to hold, regroup and push in land and capture the coastal towns to support the advance of our allies.
