--- OPERATIONS ORDER ---
Situation
Background InformationThe task and purpose of this operation is to reach, recon and sabotage the facility housing key information and materials related to the Takistani WMD production capabilities, possibilities and abilities, alongside retrieving as much intel as possible. You are to photograph, download or physically retrieve any and all intelligence and materials related to said WMD program and return it safely to base for further analysis and safekeeping.
Friendly Forces
Our troop capability consists of a MSOT (Marine Special Operations Team) staffed with 12 CSOs (Critical Skills Operators) who are equipped with deep reconnaissance; and sabotage skills and equipment. As such, they are supported in their mission with the following assets:
- 2 x Polaris MRZR 4x4 ATV to aid them in transferring supplies and provisions across the AO
- 1 x MH-47 160th SOAR (A) SOF capable helicopter that will deliver them and their vehicles to the LZ
- 1 x EC-130H "Compass Call" EW aircraft to jam and obstruct enemy radio and radar capabilities during infiltration
- 1 x Lead Element callsign NIGHTLOCK 1 consisting of a commanding officer and communications specialist tasked with either destroying or retrieving all digital documentation and intelligence linked to the WMD production program. His job is also to upload a network sniffer onto the computers located inside of the facility in an effort to uncover other locations that have access to the same database as this facility, further aiding us in locating other sites that may be linked to the WMD program.
- 2 x MSO Elements consisting of 4 CSO each, with NIGHTLOCK 1-1 being equipped with explosives and equipment crucial to destroying and crippling any infrastructure related to the WMD research program, whereas NIGHTLOCK 1-2 is equipped with an SF Gunner to provide larger volume of fire should a firefight break out.
- 1 x MSO Sniper Element armed with a M107 AMR under the callsign LONGBOW 1-3 to provide overwatch, reconnaissance and HVT elimination capabilities and act as a supporting element under NIGHTLOCK 1
Supporting Assets
EC-130H "Compass Call" EW/SEAD attached to the 43rd Electronic Combat Squadron in transit across the Atlantic. Due to the nature of the mission and the proximity of the AO to long range radar surveillance equipment and facilities, we have an EC-130H operating in the AO in an effort to provide complete SEAD and EW capabilities as well as suppression of all radar and radio capabilities. This should help with causing a complete shutdown of radio communications outside of our predetermined frequencies, allowing us to infiltrate the AO and accomplish our mission without any interference from outside reinforcements.
Enemy Forces
The enemy forces consist of a motorized infantry platoon reinforced by lightly armored vehicles capable of troop transportation. The facility itself is heavily guarded by patrols on the inner perimeter and sentries patrolling the outside regions of the facility. There is no threat of enemy medium or heavy armor, however, the close proximity of an enemy garrison to the ENE of the facility could pose a greater threat level should the alarm be sounded, which is where the EC-130H comes into play, with suppression of enemy radio and digital communications.
Mission
TaskingElectronic surveillance imagery showcasing the production facility with the dome being the "special research facility" mentioned by the extracted Takistani engineer Our task is to locate and infiltrate a facility that, on paper, manufactures heavy duty industrial solvents and chemicals. It's real purpose, however, is synthetization and stockpile of sarin components methyl-phosphonyl difluoride (Diflouro) and methyl-phosphonyl dichloride (Dichloro) which when synthesized, produce sarin gas and a byproduct of highly concentrated hydrochloric acid, which is a perfect cover-up for their real intentions. The company that holds the facility is what appears to be a dummy company that when looked into, just traces back to dead-end leads and ties to the nationalized agencies of the Takistani Ministry of Defense, other than 1 subsidiary that ties into the same company that chartered the ship that was sunken off the coast of Al-Rayak whose container was determined to be missing and found to be in possession by the Takistani National Army. Intel provided by the Takistani engineer that was extracted in the previous mission has provided very useful, as he claims that in the previous weeks before being reassigned to the quarantine zone, himself and his division were tasked with procuring materials for, and building an isolation dome within the facility proper, with specifications that demanded air-tight containers, particulate ventilation systems and extensive decontamination infrastructure alongside various supporting infrastructure. After examining satellite surveillance, his story has checked out as there has been increased traffic of heavy machinery and logistical vehicles since the start of this year, lending merit to the fact that it all ties in too well for it to be a coincidence. The facility houses several civilian workers tasked with maintaining and operating the equipment necessary for production of the materials related to the sarin production, however our goal is the isolation dome located inside of the facility. Surveillance indicates that it is off- limits to the civilians and all military personnel coming in or out are very few in numbers. The facility itself, on the other hand, is heavily guarded and well-protected. A still taken from a hidden camera from one of our field operatives, showcasing reinforced entrances to the compound As such, your best bet is to find a weak point in the perimeter of the facility itself, infiltrate the isolation dome and retrieve any intelligence possible, photograph anything that can not be physically or digitally retrieved and brought back for analysis, and destroy any other materials related to the WMD production program, and exfil out of the AO. We have no intelligence to suggest what you may encounter in the isolation dome itself, as such, you will be issued CBRN protective gear to use when inside the isolation dome should the need arise and should risk of exposure to any contaminants be present.
End-state
Photograph showcasing proper CBRN materials handling techniques, with attention being given to proper PPE, and several layers of protection of CBRN transfer canisters. In this picture you can see the main cargo container that houses 2 CBRN protective cases which in turn each house an inner cylinder of CBRN materials samples Once you have extracted all possible intelligence and photographed all evidence and materials you can not physically retrieve, you are to leave the AO and proceed to one of the LZs for exfil and mission debrief once you are back in base.
Execution
Commander's Intent- Clear Sarin R&D Facility - Gather any available intelligence - Rig charges to make site unusable - Extract all Operators alive
Tasks and Sequencing
ALL CALLSIGNS will mount Polaris MRZR 4x4 ATV and embark onto a MH-47 160th SOAR (A) SOF capable helicopter flown by CROSSROAD H which will insert the vics directly into the AO on LZ Aardvark. ALL CALLSIGNS will then progress east towards OP1 maintaining stealth. The marked route utilises the road for speed but we will deviate from this to avoid any traffic. However insert is at ~midnight local time so it is assumed this will be minimal. Once at OP1 is eyes on target are available this will be surveyed. If not then ALL CALLSIGNS shall proceed to OP2 for eyes on. After assessing the target any changes to the plan will be made, however, assuming nothing needs changing ALL CALLSIGNS will then proceed to LZ Bear where we will split. NIGHTLOCK 1-1 will move to AP 1-1 NIGHTLOCK 1-2 will move to AP 1-2 LONGBOW 1-3 will move to OP 1-3 (or the best nearby overwatch) and provide up to date intel on breach angles and OPFOR activity. Following this 1-1 shall be assigned clearance of the western side of the compound and 1-2 to the eastern side. LONGBOW 1-3 should provide overwatch. This clearance should be conducted with as much stealth as possible initially, though it is anticipated going loud at this point but it is ideal to delay this as long as possible. While moving through the compound please note intel, both that you can pick up and that you can take photos of. Please note LONGBOW 1-3 does not have suppressed shots so these shots should be used as a last resort, diversion or after we have gone loud. Once the compound is secureNIGHTLOCK 1 is tasked with either destroying or retrieving all digital documentation and intelligence linked to the WMD production program, NIGHTLOCK 1-1 is tasked with planting charges and NIGHTLOCK 1-2 is tasked with eastern security as that is the most likely QRF route. LONGBOW 1-3 should provide overwatch and call out QRF if seen. ALL CALLSIGNS should then fall back to LZ Bear for extract. LZ Cobra and Dodo provide alternatives should they be required.
