--- OPERATIONS ORDER ---
Situation
Background Information9th Warmia Reconnaissance Regiment's Squad DOG is tasked with diversion and reconnaissance around Kolembrody, in preparation for friendly forces pushing on the enemy, securing the road towards allies in the Republic of Lithuania.
Friendly Forces
DOG Squad consists of [1X] Recon squad of two standard teams with attached light sniper and spotter. The DOG Squad also has marksman and combat engineering capabilities.
Supporting Assets
HQ confirms no friendly forces in the area on both sides of the border. HAMMER artillery team in Kryśnik Rocket Base is available to support on request.
Enemy Forces
At the very least multiple platoons of mostly motor-rifle troops (MSV). Intel suggests presence of Engineering and Logistical Support element (MTO) in the area.
Mission
TaskingDOG Squad is tasked with providing a recon of the enemy teams, and introducing an element of disorientation in the OPFOR ranks, by conducting several probing attacks, crossing the river, laying mines and executing any identifiable high ranking officials. This will allow a full scale attack in the upcoming day to have higher chance of success.
End-state
Mission will be considered a success if the OPFOR is in the state of disarray, and the DOG Squad safety retreats to the forested area south of the border with Lithuania.
Execution
Commander's IntentThe objectives of our mission can be broken down into three main phases: Phase 1 - Assault, capture and defend enemy defensive positions west of Kolembrody Railyard. Phase 2 - Cross the river at the marked position and assault an enemy camp west of Kolembrody, then assault a supply depot at Kolembrody itself whilst laying AT mines on a nearby MSR. Phase 3 - Flank and assault the enemy FOB to the east of Kolembrody in order to eliminate a potential HVT in the area before retreating northwards into the nearby forests.
Tasks and Sequencing
Phase 1: - Step off from STARTEX towards AP-1. - Assault enemy positions at AP-1 and AP-2. - Temporarily defend AP-2 from enemy counterattack from the east. Phase 2: - Cross the river at the marked area near AP-1. - Assault the enemy camp at the nearby crossroads and plant AT mines. - Assault the enemy supply depot at Kolembrody and plant AT mines at AP-5. Phase 3: - Flank and assault the enemy FOB east of Kolembrody in attempt to eliminate a potential HVT. - Withdraw northwards towards ENDEX position.
