--- OPERATIONS ORDER ---
Situation
Background InformationAt approximately 0700 hours today, the DOG Squad of the 9th Warmia Reconnaissance Regiment conducted a successful diversion and reconnaissance mission during Topnik. As a result of their actions, the enemy ranks have been thrown into chaos, creating an opportunity to clear the main MSR leading to the Republic of Lithuania. To capitalize on this opportunity, the 1st Podlaska Territorial Defense Brigade has assigned the GUARDIAN Platoon to take on this crucial task. With their specialized training and equipment, the GUARDIAN Platoon will utilize their skills to ensure a safe passage and establish a clear route for our forces towards the Republic of Lithuania. It is important to note that this mission is of the utmost importance to our overall strategy, and the success of this operation will have a significant impact on our efforts to protect our nation's borders. We wish the GUARDIAN Platoon the best of luck and urge them to remain vigilant and focused on their mission.
Friendly Forces
The Infantry Platoon GUARDIAN has been deployed to the area, and is ready to provide support as required. The platoon consists of two infantry squads, each with anti-tank (AT) capabilities, ensuring that we are well-prepared to handle any potential threats that may arise in the area In addition to the infantry squads, we also have a supporting sniper element on standby, identified by the callsign DOG 3. To ensure smooth and effective communication between all units in the area, the sniper element is accompanied by a dedicated radio operator, who will be responsible for maintaining clear and secure lines of communication at all times.
Supporting Assets
Following a comprehensive assessment of the current situation, HQ has confirmed that there are no friendly forces located in the area on both sides of the border. This situation remains unchanged until the area north of Grabin, where there is a small Forward Operating Base (FOB) belonging to the Army of the Czech Republic stationed on the Lithuanian side of the border. As a result, we must remain vigilant and take all necessary precautions to ensure the safety and security of our forces in the region. In order to do so, we are pleased to inform you that the HAMMER artillery team, stationed at Kryśnik Rocket Base, is available to provide support upon request. Their expertise and firepower will be critical in the event of any unforeseen circumstances that may arise in the area. However, it is important to note that their services should only be requested in the event of a genuine threat or emergency, as their resources are limited and must be conserved for the most pressing situations.
Enemy Forces
Based on intelligence reports, we have reason to believe that there are multiple platoons of mostly motor-rifle troops (MSV) operating in the area. While we have received reports that these troops are currently in a state of disorder, they still pose a significant threat to our operations and must be approached with caution. Furthermore, we have learned that the enemy has mined the majority of the border line with Anti-Personnel mines, which presents an additional risk to our soldiers. It is essential that all troops exercise extreme caution and watch out for red triangular signs marked with a skull symbol and the warning message 'Опасно мины!' (Danger Mines!). These mines can cause severe injury or death, and it is critical that all soldiers take appropriate measures to avoid them.
Mission
TaskingThe GUARDIAN Platoon has been assigned the mission of securing a safe passage around the area of Kolembrody, located in the northern part of the region, to establish a secure connection with the Republic of Lithuania. It is crucial to be vigilant and report any suspicious radio equipment since the Radioelectronic Centre has reported increased activity of Russian number stations. Despite our cryptologists' best efforts, they were unable to decipher the meaning of those messages. Furthermore, it is important to note that the border is well-defined with white and red poles and F-2a signs, as illustrated in the image below.
End-state
Following the successful clearing of the area around Kolembrody by the GUARDIAN Platoon, a safe passage to the Republic of Lithuania has been established and secured. The platoon effectively eliminated any remaining threats in the area and cleared any potential obstructions to the main supply route (MSR) leading to the border. After a thorough reconnaissance of the area, it was confirmed that there is no enemy activity in the AO, allowing for safe and unimpeded passage to the Republic of Lithuania.
