Situation

Background Information
We are on the doorstop of Iraq's second-largest city, Basra. Troops of the British 7th Armoured Brigade will conduct an assault and capture the Al Zubain Airbase then proceed to clear the ouskirts of the city in order to secure the western flank and to allow as much of the civilian population to flee the city as possible. Simultaneously, an artillery battery of the Royal Horse Artillery will conduct a barrage over Hussein Airbase in order to eliminate any air treat. NOTE: Before the briefing of this operation, we will be taking a few minutes to remember one of our unit's members who sadly passed away just over a year ago and who's last deployment was Operation Honeybadger: VIII. We'd like to ask that you arrive on time, or if you are late to please respect the short ceremony.

Friendly Forces
7th Armoured Brigade: - 1x Rifle Platoon from the 1st Battalion, Royal Regiment of Fusiliers - 2x Challenger 2 MBT from the Royal Scots Dragoon Guards Supported by the: 2 Logistic Support Regiment; - 3x Troop transporter "Oshkosh" - 1x Heavy Equipment Transporter - "Oshkosh" - 1x Logistical Land Rover for quick repairs 32 Engineer Regiment, - 1x Land Rover

Supporting Assets
Members of the 3rd Regiment, Royal Horse Artillery are stationed at the staging area, bombarding the southern airfield.
