Situation

Background Information
An outnumbered ANA platoon stationed at an imperative frontline COP dig in and prepare for an impending Taliban assault on their positions whilst they await reinforcements from the north... Split-Start OP: ROOK 1-3, ROOK 2-3 and BISHOP 4 will be starting at FOB Diyah - ROOK 1-3, ROOK 2-3 and BISHOP 4 will race to reinforce Infantry pinned down at COP Kezban.

Friendly Forces
ANA Platoon; 2 infantry squads, 2x logistic trucks, 2x BTR

Supporting Assets
No independent supporting assets.

Enemy Forces
The enemy Infantry is supported by technicals, APCs, IFVs and potentially MBTs.

Mission

Tasking
Defending COP Kezban from the impending enemy assault and conduct a counterattack on the enemy positions when able.

End-state
COP Kezban secured, neighboring enemy positions successfully assaulted.

Execution

Commander's Intent
The primary objective of our mission is to prevent the abandonment of COP Kezban. Once this has been assured, we are to conduct our own counterattack on neighboring enemy positions to further secure the region.

Tasks and Sequencing
OBJECTIVE SOL [ROOK 1] - Defend north-western sectors of COP Kezban. [ROOK 2] - Defend south-eastern sectors of COP Kezban. [ROOK 1-3] [ROOK 2-3] [BISHOP 4] - Gather supplies and prepare to depart from FOB Diyah to COP Kezban following predetermined route (once given clearance from FL). OBJECTIVE MERCURY [ROOK 1] - Assault and clear Adawiyah's northern compounds (use APC at own discretion). [ROOK 2] - Assault and clear Adawiyah's southern compounds (use APC at own discretion). [BISHOP 4] - Hold at COP Kezban and prepare for potential repair or resupply of platoon. OBJECTIVE VENUS [ROOK 1] - Assault and clear Kifar's southern compounds from AP-1A (use APC at own discretion). [ROOK 2] - Assault and clear Kifar's north-eastern compounds from AP-1B (use APC at own discretion). [BISHOP 4] - Hold at RV-1and prepare for potential repair or resupply of platoon. OBJECTIVE MARS [ROOK 1] - Assault and clear Ahlam's western compounds from AP-2A (use APC at own discretion). [ROOK 2] - Assault and clear Ahlam's eastern compounds from AP-2B (use APC at own discretion). [BISHOP 4] - Hold at RV-2 and prepare for potential repair or resupply of platoon.
