--- OPERATIONS ORDER ---
Situation
Background InformationNATO prepares for a frontal push towards Paros by demining the frontlines east of Limni during the night.
Friendly Forces
1x Platoon element, callsign DEFCON 1x SF squad, callsign FOX 3x Sholefs, with 1x Fire Support Chief, callsign ECHO
Supporting Assets
ALPHA Company, 2nd Battalion 136th Regiment, is in defensive posture at CAMP HERCULES, and has recently suffered casualties due to heavy artillery barrages. BRAVO Company will, in a shaping operation to support FOX, attack and seize Nifi. However, due to vulnerabilities along the Western frontlines, BRAVO will withdraw as the frontlines are seized by other elements, and retake defensive positions along the Western frontline. CHARLIE Company, 2nd Battalion 136th Regiment, is preparing for an orchestrated frontal push in the direction of Paros, and will be given the go-ahead as soon as FOX completes their mission. DELTA Company, 2nd Battalion 136th Regiment, is tasked with attack by fire in the direction of Rodopoli to prevent any reinforcements from the west. 2nd Battalion’s main logistical hub is situated in the quarry south of Pyrgos. This hub was recently raided by a CSAT SOF team. A command node controlling the frontlines is located in Ekali. NATO commanders have decided that we now need to retake the momentum, and has decided that the most beneficial avenue of approach is in the direction of Kolochori and Paros.
Enemy Forces
NIFI - 1x motorised platoon KALOCHORI SOLAR PLANT - 1x mechanised company. 1x infantry platoon. 1x combined arms platoon. KALOCHORI - 1x mechanised squadron, 1x infantry battalion. 1x artillery platoon. PAROS - 1x infantry batallion. 1x mechanized squadron. CSAT has increased their frontline attacks, likely searching for NATO defensive vulnerabilities. Much would indicate that they have found a slight vulnerability along the Dorida axis, where friendly forces recently had to withdraw from the town to an area west of CAMP HERCULES. CAMP HERCULES has also been the target of heavy artillery barrages.
Mission
TaskingDemine Eastern side of Limni to allow further attacks from CHARLIE COMPANY. Destabilise the frontlines by attacking the first and second lines of defence.
End-state
FOX has secured a safe avenue through the expected minefield east of Limni, and - with support from ECHCO - reduced CSAT combat effectiveness along the first lines of defence.
Execution
Commander's IntentClear out a corridor for a larger friendly force to push through and weaken enemy defense lines.
Tasks and Sequencing
FOX 1 will focus on clearing the road along the coastline on the east side of the AO and will attempt to avoid contact until the road has been cleared. ECHO 4 will fire at targets designated by DEFCON 8 starting with DL-1 as soon as FOX 1 starts clearing mines. ECHO 4 via DEFCON 8's will continue engaging DL-2 & DL-3 when satisfied with damage has been done on DL-1, targets of opportunity to be marked by DEFCON 8. After FOX 1 has completed their initial objective, they will move to clear our DL-2 and then DL-1 in that order, which should have been weakened by fire from ECHO 4.
Administration/Logistics
