Situation

Background Information
Marine High Command has authorized the 27th MEU to begin Operations in the Black Sea, with the main goal of seizing the Island Nation of Akarya. Stingray, a Recon Detachment is sent to one of the Nation's Islands, Atamanka, to find and disrupt enemy presence, and secure a stepping stone in the main Invasion. Notice: All elements are equipped with NVG's and Suppressors. This is NOT a Stealth OP. Units using the NVG's will have to use Ironsights due to no NVG-compatible Sights.

Friendly Forces
Recon Platoon with 2 squads. 3x Rhib

Enemy Forces
Enemy is on low alert QRF can consist of light armed vehicles and possible BTR. No night vison capable troops spotted Most Guard personnel will be reservist , QRF Can consist of more veteran enlisted. Boat patrols and utility helicopters have been spotted to visit the island. Fighter aircraft have been spotted on the airfield.


Mission

Tasking
Disrupt and sabotage the enemy before large scale invasion force. Invasion force launch time T-minus 2 hours.

End-state
Enemy forces on the island in disarray . Recon Team extracted from the island.


Execution

Commander's Intent
The goal of the mission is to weaken the Enemy's defenses on the Island of Atamanka, which houses a Military Airbase providing an excellent stepping stone towards an Invasion for the main Island. STINGRAY will utilize quick, decisive strikes against the multitude of Military Objectives as marked, using the element of surprise to their advantage.

Tasks and Sequencing
Phase 0: !OPFOR IS ON LOW ALERT! Stingray will depart from USS Witness, a Wasp-Class LHD holding East of Atamanka, in 3x RHIB's under cover of darkness Phase 1: -Initial Landing & Setting Ambush All STINGRAY anchor at LZ Yuma, attempting to gain initial intel on enemy positions. STINGRAY 1: prepares Kill Zone Pendleton for an anticipated ambush STINGRAY 2: Scouts OBJ Alpha & OBJ Bravo with STINGRAY 9 *STINGRAY 9 makes initial call on OBJ Alpha/Bravo based on Recon from STINGRAY 2, the goal is to take both in <30mins> Phase 2: STINGRAY 1: Stages Ambush on BoF 2-B STINGRAY 2: Stages Ambush on BoF 2-A *STINGRAY 9 intends to decimate incoming QRF in Ambush to allow easier mission completion in Phase 3/4* Phase 3: -Assault on Kartsev Phase 4: -Assault on Atamanka City

Resupply
-No LOGPAK Available ALL CALLSIGNS will cross the LoD fully loaded according to the units SOP. These supplies will come from the staging area. This basic load is expected to sustain the team throughout the mission, without support.
