Situation

Background Information
A reduced NOMAD platoon comprised of the remnants from the HMS queen Elizabeth continue with their vicious assault to secure the island and rescue any survivors of the HMS Portland that has been recently sunk nearby.

Friendly Forces
Nomad callsign consisting of: 2x reduced infantry squad 1x reduced support team

Supporting Assets
detached elements of Nomad are garrisoning the south side of the island.

Enemy Forces
Entrenched infantry, with armoured vehicles standing by. During the last operation the local PLA forces have lost a significant amount of armour and air. Expect a reduced offensive usage of these assets.

Mission

Tasking
The remnants of Nomad continue pushing further north to clear the island. Secure the ports or hold them long enough to organize a withdrawal of forces.

End-state
Mission Success: Main ports in friendly hands or callsign Nomad evacuated from the island. Mission Failure: NOMAD overran.

Execution

Commander's Intent
The primary objective of our mission is to complete the capture of the relevant island by destroying and delaying as many PLA troops and assets as possible in order to delay the enemy's invasion of the mainland.

Tasks and Sequencing
______________________________________________________________________________________________________ PHASE 0: - NOMAD platoon will prepare and brief from current position before commencing assault. - NOMAD 1 will assault RV-Manchester from the western flank. - NOMAD 2 will assault RV-Manchester from the eastern flank. - NOMAD 3 will provide base of fire from AP-1 and prepare to assault the centre of RV-Manchester if required. - NOMAD platoon will hold PL-1 and rapidly resupply and reorganize at RV-Manchester if required. ______________________________________________________________________________________________________ PHASE 1: - NOMAD 1 will move to assault RV-Leeds from the western flank, following their corresponding waypoints and passing PL-2 simultaneously with the platoon. - NOMAD 2 will move to assault RV-Leeds from the eastern flank, following their corresponding waypoints and passing PL-2 simultaneously with the platoon. - NOMAD 3 will provide base of fire from AP-2 to AP-4. - NOMAD platoon will rapidly resupply and reorganize at RV-Leeds if required. ______________________________________________________________________________________________________ PHASE 2: - NOMAD 1 and NOMAD 2 will move to assault RV-Sheffield as a combined force through WP-5 to WP-8. - Suspect potential naval counterattack from the east. - NOMAD 3 will provide base of fire from AP-5 to AP-7. - NOMAD platoon will hold PL-3 and rapidly resupply and reorganize at RV-Sheffield if required. ______________________________________________________________________________________________________ PHASE 3: - NOMAD PLATOON will assault and secure the East Docks at the discretion of the Field Leader before withdrawing to appropriate landing zones if required or able. ______________________________________________________________________________________________________

Administration/Logistics

Resupply
- Minimal ammunition resupply will be conducted by ZULU via NOMAD 9. - Anti-Tank resupply will be conducted by ZULU via NOMAD 9.

Medical
- We have no access to any additional medical support. Appropriate SOP to be followed. - PAK in field.

Rules of Engagement
- We do not have the facilities to accommodate any CPERS. Appropriate SOP to be followed (captive-in-field).
