Situation

Background Information
After multiple successful raids, Lima company has been tasked with taking control over airfield and enemey suspected main HQ for northern AO. In order to deny enemy control of airspace and to secure the northern AO.

Friendly Forces
Friendly. Higher: Lima Company is tasked with control of Northern AO and has full support of the MEU. Adjacent: 2nd Platoon will be staged in the AA area as a QRF force, 3rd Platoon will be assaulting CoObj B. Attached/detached: N/A Supporting: F-35, Scout Sniper FT, Combat Eng

Mission

Tasking
O/O Lima Company, 1st Platoon, will move to conduct a platoon frontal assault on CoObj A.

End-state
Lima Company will clear AO Alpha of all enemy contact allowing for the freedom of movement for friendlily forces. While securing any intel or strategic objects for future operations.


Execution

Commander's Intent
The purpose of this operation is the eliminate enemy AA emplacements and claim air superiority on the Northeastern island with the capture of the Tikhoretsk Airport.

Tasks and Sequencing
PHASE 0: Preparation - ALL CALLSIGNS ensure adequate supplies for effective operations through completion of Objective Apple. - ALL CALLSIGNS mount in transport vehicles and depart for DM-A and RP-A. - Convoy order: BAKER 1 (with PSG & Medic), BAKER 2 (with PL & Engineer) PHASE 1: Objective Apple - Via RP-A, BAKER 1 establishes a support by fire position overlooking Kamennyy and suspected AA positions. - BAKER 2 Exploits concealment and flanks north to clear through Kamennyy and locate AA emplacements. - Combat Engineer rigs AA devices for detonation. - Once a supporting position is established to cover movement, BAKER 1 will move immediately to a position flanking the MSR to prepare for a hasty L-shaped ambush on an anticipated QRF. PHASE 2: Objective Defense - BAKER 1 establishes a defendable position with fires straight down the MSR. - BAKER 2 establishes a defendable position with interlocking fires across the MSR. - As time permits, Combat Engineer enhances defenses with M15 AT and Claymore mines. - Weapons Red until lead vehicle enters killbox. - Convoy location and composition to be communicated by BAKER 3 as positioning enables. PHASE 3: Resupply & Convoy Movement - CROSSROAD H provides resupply at LRP-1 - All callsigns remount transport vehicles and move towards airport infiltration via DM-B & RP-B . PHASE 4: Objective Banana - BAKER callsign collaborates on sector assignment in hand with recon from BAKER 3. - Exploiting a concealed approach via RP-B, BAKER 1 & BAKER 2 clear east to west through the power station. -BAKER 3 provides overwatch and precision fire support. PHASE 5: Objective Orange - BAKER 1 & BAKER 2 approach the northern flank of the airport via RP-C or comparable routes. - Combat Engineer places breaching charges on outer wall, detonation on command of BAKER 9. - BAKER 1 & BAKER 2 enter assigned sectors, Alpha and Bravo respectively. - ALL CALLSIGNS coordinate on crossing of phase lines. - Charlie, Delta and Echo sectors will be assigned and cleared alongside recon from BAKER 3 . -BAKER 3 provides overwatch and precision fire support. PHASE 6: Airfield Defense - Utilizing available cover and concealment, ALL CALLSIGNS establish southern defensive positions to eliminate anticipated QRF. - Western road to remain priority in division of forces. - ALL CALLSIGNS endex in field. SCHEME OF SNIPER OPERATIONS - BAKER 3 will be tasked with independently eliminating an enemy LP/OP and gathering intelligence on the airfield. - Elimination of LP/OP will be critical to preventing early QRF at objective banana. - Information of enemy composition and quantity in Tikhoretsk airport should be relayed through BAKER 7 for collection and distribution. - BAKER 3 is provided complete freedom of movement, and will have a small vehicle to enable insertion and relocation. SCHEME OF AIR OPERATIONS - Heavy enemy air presence from Tihoretsk and Pavlovskaya airports is anticipated in the AO. - EAGLE 5 is to ensure air security through the duration of the operation. - A credible air defense network is online over a majority of the island until the completion of Objective Apple in phase 1. - Rearm, repair and reinsertion are available through CROSSROAD H.

Resupply
Resupply will be provided through CROSSROAD H as coordinated through BAKER 7. BAKER 9 assists Combat Engineer with carrying mining supplies. BAKER 7 assists Platoon Medic with carrying medical supplies.

COMPLETE MEDICAL SUPPORT WILL BE CONDUCTED IN FIELD (PAK IN FIELD ON).
