--- OPERATIONS ORDER ---
Situation
Background InformationAfter Able Company seized control and held the coastal town Vierville-sur-Mer against Wehrmacht counterattacks, Fox Company, an infantry unit supported by armour from the 743rd Independent Tank Battalion, began their push West through consolidated and entrenched Wehrmacht defensive positions towards the town of Louvières. Their goal is to finally dislodge the German 916th Grenadier Regiment out of the town, thus securing Omaha beach and creating a defensive buffer zone in the region that will allow for further landings, as the allies prepare to push further into Normandy.

Mission
TaskingThe purpose of this operation is to rout the German 916th Grenadier Regiment inside and around the town of Louvieres. This is to allow for the facilitation of further allied landings on Ohama beach so that allied forces may continue their offensive deeper into the Normandy region.
End-state
The desired end-state of this operation is the complete capture of Louvieres, along with the rout of all German forces in the area. In the event of complications leading to mission failure, all elements should attempt to regroup with the nearest allied unit outside the area of operations.
Execution
Commander's IntentThe purpose of this mission is to finalise the beachhead and secure Louvieres from the east, driving the Germans further inland. All momentum gained must be maintained from start to finish.
Tasks and Sequencing
!Orange hashed areas marked with exclamation points are minefields!
PHASE 0
ALL CALLSIGNS are staging east of Louvieres for final checks and preparations.
FOX squad leaders and Anvil coordinate with the platoon sergeant and integrated support engineers to agree on a complete resupply scheme. There will be no reserves besides what we can load ourselves.
PHASE 1
During the initial assault, we want to put the Germans on the back foot by driving them out of their forward positions. Terrain dictates a linear attack, but we will exploit any cover and flanking opportunity to avoid frontal assaults on entrenchments.
Anvil ensures suppression through direct fire while Fox manoeuvres close in.
PHASE 2
The chief objective of Phase 2 is to deny the enemy the advantage of the chokepoint at the intersecting roads between streams. All care must be taken to not be pushed back against or through it; aggression must be high.
Once the trench line has been taken, engineers conduct a thorough resupply.
PHASE 3
This phase marks the beginning of the assault on Louvieres.
After ensuring no direct-fire AT capabilities (e.g. Pak38/40) remain, Anvil tanks provide rolling cover for one squad each. The formation moves along the roads leading into town until suitable cover and flanking positions are reached.
Following this, Anvil has freedom of movement to the flanks for support, staying behind the infantry advance.
PHASE 4
The final push on Louvieres begins by heavy suppression from Anvil while FOX manoeuvres.
The town is expected to be heavily fortified. There shall be no movement without fire.
Once the enemy's defensive situation is clear, FOX moves into town to clear.
Administration/Logistics
ResupplyAll elements depart the assembly area fully loaded. Rearm and resupply from mounted reserves is conducted by integrated engineers in PLHQ. There shall be no replenishment of reserves. Vehicle reserves are limited. Crews of destroyed assets are to be evacuated to the rear for a replacement. When exhausted, no replacements.
Medical
- Medical support (PAK) will be available at the platoon-integrated ambulance.
