Situation

Background Information
In preparation for an assault of Fortshtadt Valley, a squad is sent to disrupt ground access between the airfield and the valley. The road from Zubodne is to be denied in order to delay ground reinforcements and restrict retreat avenues. Use of stealth is paramount to mission success, upon contact we will have limited time to evacuate the area before enemy forces concentrate on our position. Fire Support Team : M1129 (120mm)

Friendly Forces
1x USMC Infantry Squad -Attached SUAV Operator -Attached Forward Observer 1x Fire Support element 2 M1129 MC with M121

Supporting Assets
KING Company established at FOB Lonestar will provide logistical support to fire support element. ANGEL 6 (Knighthawk) on standby to provide emergency air support and evacuation.

Enemy Forces
Expected movement of support, light, and armoured vehicles along the MSR. Suspected presence of enemy patrols & small camps along Ridge South and Ridge North

Main objective : - Disrupt movement along the supply route Secondary objectives: - Investigate POI Coast - Destroy enemy assets within the area - Reconnaissance enemy positions around the AO

End-state
Mission success : All friendly elements extracted Movement through the MSR disrupted Mission failure : Squad eliminated or captured Enemy maintains movement capability along the MSR


Execution

Commander's Intent
Insertion via littlebirds, stealth reconnaissance followed by mining the roads, marking targets of opportunity for artillery and evac via littlebird.

Tasks and Sequencing
PANTHER 1 to be inserted by ZULU H via littlebird. LONGBOW 3 to support frontline operations while PANTHER 1 is inserting. LZ-A Insertion Alpha , secondary LZ-B Insertion Bravo Move on on foot to WP-1, being carefull of enemy patrols. OP-1 will serve as an initial waypoint position to cover the targeted mine area. PANTHER 1 to continue scouting ahead towards WP-2 and WP-3. Once WP-3 is reached, marking any targets of opportunity for LONGBOW 3 to . PANTHER 1 will then make their way back to the Target Mine Area and lay down Anti-Vehicle and Anti-Personell mines on and alongside the road. Once mines are laid, PANTHER 1 is to EXFIL via Insertion Alpha. In the event of compromise, Bailout 1 and Bailout 2 are used instead, whichever is closest. When given the signal, LONGBOW 3 to engage enemy targets.


Administration/Logistics

Resupply
ALL CALLSIGNS will cross the LD fully loaded according to the units SOP. These supplies will come from the staging area. This basic load is expected to sustain the team throughout the mission, without support.
