--- OPERATIONS ORDER ---
Situation
Background InformationAfter the hard fighting for the airfield, Lima Company has cleared the airfield resulting in enemy fall back to the port. While the fighting was happening, Intel found that the base commander fled south. 3RD RECON BATTALION, 1ST PLATOON Has been tasked with either kill or capture of the base commander. 1st Platoon will conduct behind enemy line extraction to complete the objective while Lima Company is assaulting the main enemy force.
Friendly Forces
F. Higher- Lima Company is clear the AO of all hostiles and clear the island. Adj.- 2nd Platoon and 3rd Platoon are on standby to support the Main Effort fighting at the airfield. Det- None

Mission
TaskingM P- To secure or kill the HVT and decentralize their command. M- Squad Sized ambush
End-state
E. The Enemy Commander is either captured or killed and allowing the Main Effort to breakthrough enemy lines after the lost of their high command.
Execution
Commander's IntentThe purpose of the mission is to gather information on the enemy retreat and regrouping efforts, and secure a key OPFOR commander from behind enemy lines.
Tasks and Sequencing
PHASE 0: Preparation - ALL CALLSIGNS ensure adequate supplies on person to sustain operations without logistic support for the duration of this mission. -- Any additional support required for adequate load bearing is to be communicated to BAKER 1. - ALL CALLSIGNS will be outfitted with NVGs, and suppressors. PHASE 1: Insertion - ALL CALLSIGNS mount in vehicles and depart for RP-1. -- Paths of least resistance should be followed.
- ALL CALLSIGNS dismount vehicles at DM-A or comparable location.
PHASE 2: POI Investigation
- ALL CALLSIGNS proceed to investigate abandoned OPFOR outpost.
-- All intelligence gathered will be consolidated for a report to higher command.
PHASE 3: Infiltration
- ALL CALLSIGNS mount vehicles and move to DM-B.
- ALL CALLSIGNS movement to RP-3 will be conducted on foot, weapons red
PHASE 4: HVT Location #1
- Combat Engineer places breaching charge at NW corner of suspected HVT location #1.
-- Method of compound clearing to be determined in field with intelligence on enemy forces
- Upon HVT capture or sector clear, ALL CALLSIGNS regroup at RP-4 via exit charge and regain stealth.
- Swiftness of action and exit in Phase 4 is critical to avoiding overwhelming QRF
PHASE 5: HVT Location #2
- ALL CALLSIGNS move to second suspected location via RP-5, Weapons Red.
- BAKER 1 element breaks north to establish mine blockade for QRF redirection.
- BAKER 1-1 & BAKER 1-2 coordinate compound clearing.
-- successful mining operations must be ensured before Weapons Green
- Once contact is established in Phase 5, swiftness of action remains a priority over stealth through EXFIL.
PHASE 6: HVT Location #3
- ALL CALLSIGNS proceed to final HVT location via RP-6.
- BAKER 1 element breaks to establish contingent mine blockade for additional QRF.

- With HVT secured or eliminated, ALL CALLSIGNS regroup at EXFIL via exit charge.
CCP Defense
- Due to time constraints on any live objective, all immediate casualties must be transported to designated CCP locations for treatment.
- CCP Locations are premarked according to priority requirements:

- Scheme of fortifications and reinforcements upon casualty transportation will be adapted from the following baseline:
Administration/Logistics
ResupplyLOGISTIC SUPPORT WILL BE UNAVAILABLE for the duration of this operation. ALL CALLSIGNS will infil with sufficient supplies to sustain the assigned operations. Any requirements for additional carrying capacity or load spreading should be coordinated through BAKER 1. Team Leaders will be provided backpacks to assist with ammunition carrying. Ammo Bearer & Squad Leader will carry mining supplies for the Combat Engineer.
Medical
COMPLETE MEDICAL SUPPORT WILL BE CONDUCTED IN FIELD (PAK IN FIELD ON). Due to time constraints on any live objective, all immediate casualties must be transported to designated CCP locations for treatment.
