Situation

Background Information
After quick and lethal, mission by Recon Marines, they were able to capture the enemy high commander while riding three FOBs. It is now time to complete the mission and take over the northern island completely. Its now up to Alpha company 2nd Platoon to assault the enemy remaining forces and clear them off the island.

Friendly Forces
F. H. Lima Company is tasked with securing the southern AO and clearing it of all enemy control. A. 2nd Platoon is holding contact at the airfield, 3rd platoon is standing by as QRF. Att/Det. Combat Eng

Execution

Commander's Intent
The purpose of this operation is to conduct a platoon assault, exploiting the flank of an entrenched enemy fixed from the north by friendly forces.

Tasks and Sequencing
PHASE 0: Preparation - ALL CALLSIGNS ensure adequate supplies are loaded into integrated vehicles to last the duration of the operation. - ALL CALLSIGNS mount into AAVs and depart for RP-A. -- Initial Convoy order: BAKER 1, BAKER 2, BAKER 9, STARLIGHT 4. PHASE 1: Insertion - ALL CALLSIGNS proceed in convoy through RP-A. -- BAKER 1 & BAKER 2 break convoy by RP-B towards self-determined dismount point. - ALL CALLSIGNS proceed to assigned sectors in phase 2. - Actions on early contact: Dismount & Assault. PHASE 2: Town Assault - BAKER 1 clears along marked alpha sectors. - BAKER 2 clears along marked bravo sectors. -- To guard against anticipated eastern QRF, BAKER 1-3 & BAKER 2-3 should remain within proximity of the MSR. - STARLIGHT 4 staged nearby for expedient medical response, as coordinated through BAKER 8. PHASE 3: Southern Compounds - ALL CALLSIGNS cross Phase Line alpha in unison. -- BAKER 1 & BAKER 2 alternate in BOF and flanking maneuvers through A4 & B4. - With BAKER 2 established in sector B4, BAKER 1 immediately assumes northern security to guard against likely QRF. PHASE 4: Movement to Port - ALL CALLSIGNS Move to port via RP-C & RP-D. -- Convoy order: BAKER 1, BAKER 9, BAKER 2, (STARLIGHT 4). - Maintaining speed into port sectors will remain key for avoiding northern contact. -- Cavalry breach will be utilized for outer wall access. BAKER 7 will utilize M112 charges as contingency. - Actions on early contact: Push Through. PHASE 5: Port, East Leg - BAKER 1 clears along marked alpha sectors. - BAKER 2 clears along marked bravo sectors. -- AAVs maintain west and north security. - STARLIGHT 4 staged nearby for expedient medical response, as coordinated through BAKER 8. PHASE 6: Port, North leg - BAKER 1 & BAKER 2 continue along marked sectors. -- Utilizing AGLs, BAKER 2-2 & BAKER 2-3 eliminate any western entrenched positions as marked via intel. - Upon completion of sector B9, BAKER 2 assumes western defensive against QRF. PHASE 7: Entrenched Positions - BAKER 1 & BAKER 2 cross Phase Line Delta in tandem. - Final assault on northern entrenched positions will be conducted alongside position information gathering in-field. - ENDEX at northern airbase, within friendly lines.


Administration/Logistics

Resupply
- Squad resupply will be loaded into integrated AAV's. This load will sustain operations for the duration of the mission. Any need for additional carrying capacity should be communicated to BAKER 9. - Vehicle rearm, repair and refuel will be conducted through BAKER 8 and the embedded Support Engineer. - In the event of a vehicle detonation, vehicle replacement will be conducted by CROSSROAD H, as coordinated through BAKER 8.

Medical
- STARLIGHT 4 will remain on standby for casualty care as coordinated through BAKER 8. - Medical support will be conducted by STARLIGHT 4 (PAK off Field).
