--- OPERATIONS ORDER ---
Situation
Background Information
After Charlie Platoons's successful spearhead deep into enemy territory, they begin to entrench their position in order to retain their hold of the region.
Isolated and outnumbered, the platoon intends to quickly strike nearby enemy positions before the Taliban are able to conduct an assault of their own.
Intel provided by a nearby ANA reconnaissance element suggests the enemy have encircled Charlie's position with hilltop defenses, roadblocks and IEDs. However, contact with the team has since been lost and Charlie hope to rendezvous at their last known position...

Execution
Commander's IntentThe intent of this mission is to link up the Charlie salient with Bravo platoon and recover the missing ANA recon section to drive the offensive further into Taliban-held territory.
Tasks and Sequencing
PHASE 0 ALL CALLSIGNS prepare for a mechanised operation at the forward strongpoint. The enemy has line of sight on our location. We must be quick to deploy to drive back their forward positions and ensure momentum early. PHASE 1 At a suitable location, Charlie dismounts manoeuvre northeast through wooded hills and across a saddle to eliminate Taliban forward positions. Both squads coordinate a bounding movement maintaining mutual support throughout. Charlie Strykers move along the road alongside Lima to screen south and provide fire support for the dismounts as required. All elements should aim to synchronise movements throughout to avoid overextension, but prioritise momentum on the north flank. CHARLIE 1 established a suitable BOF within ~300 metres of the town of Usaimah. Stand by for AP 1A. CHARLIE 2 manoeuvre to AP 2A and report contact. Both squads sweep the town to seize. Regroup and rearm as required. Orientate north. PHASE 2 This phase focuses on re-establishing comms with ROMEO 1, the missing ANA recon section. CHARLIE remounts Strykers to travel northwest across the open. Convoy order: C1 — C9 — LIMA — INDIA — C2 LIMA and INDIA break off from the convoy early at a suitable location no closer than 500 metres of Khaatir unless directed otherwise. Charlie dismounts conduct a coordinated sweep of the town via their assigned AP. When Romeo is recovered, all teams remount and retreat to PL1 for the next phase. PHASE 3 Charlie platoon re-orientates north for movement through the valley to seize the town of Dimah. CHARLIE 1 dismounts to move via AP 1C along the ridge on the left flank. CHARLIE 2 mirrors the movement via AP 2C on the right flank. Strykers move on the road. The platoon maintains a loose V formation so that the dismounts screen both flanks ahead of all vehicles. The left flank brings in the assault via AP 1D. Charlie 2 must ensure support at the marked sync point before continuing to their OP/BOF in preparation for AP 2D. From AP 1D, the Strykers provide support by fire, standing by for manoeuvres in support of the assault. Both squads sweep the town on either side of the road to seize Dimah.
