Situation
Background InformationAfter being ambushed following up information gathered from a village elder, 2 section is returning to the mosque to arrest the man who provided false information.

Execution
Commander's IntentThe mission's purpose is to locate and apprehend the local village Elder who gave false information that led Tempest squad into an ambush compound. The Elder was last spotted at the Mosque in Baba Rahim.
Tasks and Sequencing
TEMPEST Squad will move along route Noodle to the Town of Baba Rahim. TEMPEST 1 will set up a snap observation post at OP Rice prior to entering the town to observe civilian activity for any signs of a possible ambush or Taliban presence. TEMPEST 1 will then move into the town with TEMPEST 1-1 clearing the marked mosque compound in search of the village elder while TEMPEST 1-2 holds an overwatch position at OP Wonton. While the infantry are clearing the compound and surrounding area TEMPEST 2 will provide rear guard against any possible attack from our flanks. Upon locating the village Elder, TEMPEST will extract the Elder to be handed over to our intelligence colleagues and await further tasking based on the information gathered during the hunt for the Elder.
Administration/Logistics
ResupplyALL CALLSIGNS will cross the LD fully loaded according to the unit's SOP. These supplies will come from the staging area and be located within the vehicle. This basic load is expected to sustain the team throughout the mission, without support. Emergency resupply is available but this will take a significant amount of time to arrive.
Medical
- Medical support will be conducted in field (PAK in Field) - A helicopter will be on standby at FOB Texas to provide MEDEVAC
