--- OPERATIONS ORDER ---
Situation
Background InformationFollowing years of internal conflict with militias and insurgents, the legitimate government of the Republic of Veridia has requested UN military assistance. In response a US Navy Carrier Strike Group was sent to the region to stabilize the island. After a hasty landing and an initial skirmish, a squad detachment is tasked with pushing out the beachhead by clearing surrounding villages harboring militia fighters to the south west and finally, if able, raiding a small logistical base. Eliminating the small but vital logistical hub will cripple enemy resupply in the region.

1st PLT operating in northern AO. Casevac on standby incase of potential Masscas. Further support elements still landing.
Enemy Forces
Soviet-armed militias with light armour support; technicals and occasional BTRs. Expect irregular warfare, ambushes and fortified compounds in villages. The enemy is aware of our position.
Mission
TaskingClear enemy occupied villages, recon logistical base and destroy if able to limit enemy capabilities in the area.
End-state
Mission success
- All enemies neutralized.
- Logistical base rendered inoperable.
- Beachhead secured for potential with forward operations inland.
- Villages cleared and threat to the south west mitigated.
- Logistical base reconnoitred for further operations.
Execution
Commander's IntentThe purpose of this mission is to perform a "hit and run" style attack on the Logistical Base to the south west of the beachhead and clear the towns along the road leading up to it.
Tasks and Sequencing
PHASE 0 After briefing ALL CALLSIGNS will move towards Obj Alpha on foot where 1 team will clear and temporarily set up on BOF A1 PHASE 1 Both teams will move through Obj Alpha in parallel clearing out any militia positions. PHASE 2 Both teams will again move through Obj Bravo in parallel clearing out any militia positions before converging on an old military compound that is suspected to be used by the militia. PHASE 3 After clearing both towns we will do some quick recon on the logistical base to determine wheter it is feasible to clear and destroy it. When the logistical base is destroyed we will fall back to avoid getting surrounded from the north.
