Situation
Background InformationUNILYMPICS!!!! Because the unit exist 6 years we are bringing back a event UNIYMPICS This event use to be a fun competition between troops on who had the best skill. This event will be a team effort and working together will be a critical thing Rules applying to all events: Selection and designation of all roles or taskings is up to each team. It is recommended that teams elect a captain to facilitate task distribution. Each team will be given one radio frequency they need to use, that frequency will be monitored by one GM and will be your point of contact to resolve Arma issues. First three events will be done in a row, with each team moving to the next event, designated GM will be able to give guidance as requested to move to the next event. Once a team has finished the first three events, they will move to the waiting area for a simultaneous start of the last event. First event will be Compound raid Teams designate one Pilot for this event, they'll be the only one authorised to fly for that event. You will not be given additional equipment for that mission. Start of the event will be staggered to avoid interference between teams. Each team will be designated on the map the compound they need to clear (one per team). Entry into the compound needs to be done with fast-rope. The pilot may land only after all other team members have fast-roped. You will need to find 3 pieces of Intel in the compound, inanimate targets will also be present, you will need to take them out as you clear through buildings. Once all 3 pieces of intel are found and all targets have been taken out, you may board back in your helicopter. The timer is ended once all team members have arrived at the designated endpoint. Second event will be Convoy obstacles. Each team will be given 4 vehicles, all 4 vehicles will need to cross the finish line within 5 seconds of each other. (If there is a gap of more than 5 seconds between two vehicles crossing, this will lead to penalties). Targets will be present through the course, shooting an enemy target will award points, shooting a civilian or friendly target will remove points. Deviation from the route outside of intended shortcuts will lead to penalties. Third event will be Hot Potato Each team will have a designated area they need to find and defuse 6 IEDs. All IEDs present will be from the IEDD notebook mod. All members will be given the tools needed to detect and defuse the IEDs prior to entering the area. Detonation of an IED will incur a penalty. Fourth event is: Pizza delivery Each team will be given 3 amounts of crates to move to the plane on standby for departure. The course is split into 4 parts, delimited by the different switch points where the team will switch to another type of vehicle. Interference such as blocking path, or ramming is authorised when outside the safe areas. Use of weapons is not authorised during the entire event. To do a switch and start the next part, all team members and the cargo need to be dismounted, only then can loading of cargo and personnel be done. Each switch point will have a set amount of vehicles for each team, you can use as many or as few vehicles within your allotted amount. Starting point, and all switch point have an area of 300m around where interference is not allowed.
