Situation
Background Information
U.S. ARMY INFANTRY SQUAD ECHO PLAN TO RETAKE THE TOWN OF MOLBATH AND CLEAR A ROUTE TOWARDS THE CITY OF ROSCHE AHEAD OF PLANNED ARMORED ASSAULT
(EOD HAS BEEN ATTACHED FOR CLEARANCE OF MINED ROADS)

Minefields blocking all routes towards Rosche.
New counter artillery radar installation near Molbath.

ENEMY FORCES ARE EXPECTED TO FIELD LIGHT VEHICLES AND VARIOUS ARTILLERY SYSTEMS, ALONG WITH THEIR ENTRENCHED INFANTRY.
Mission
TaskingATTACK THE TOWN OF MOLBATH AND CLEAR A ROUTE AHEAD OF AN UPCOMING ARMORED ASSAULT ON ROSCHE. SECONDARY OBJECTIVE IS TO DISABLE COUNTER BATTERY ARTILLERY OPERATING NORTH EAST OF MOLBATH.
End-state
MOLBATH SECURED, 1X ROUTE CLEARED FOR USE BY MBTS AND IFV UNITS. SECONDARY: DISABLE COUNTER BATTERY ARTILLERY CAPABILITY OPERATING IN THE AREA.
Execution
Commander's IntentThe purpose of this mission is to clear a path through Molbath and the forest east of it towards Rosche, so tanks can follow for the eventual assault on Rosche itself.
Tasks and Sequencing
PHASE 0 ALL CALLSIGNS will move through defilade to attack Molbath from the south-west. PHASE 1 ECHO 1-1 will take the green route and clear the northern side of Molbath ECHO 1-2 will take the blue route and clear the southern side of Molbath ECHO 1 will support where needed PHASE 2 Both teams will determine the suitability of their route for tanks and IFVs, the best option will be fully cleared by both teams before getting into position to attack a suspected radar installation. PHASE 3 Both teams will attack the suspected radar installation from the south, clear it, look for any valuable intel and destroy the radar itself. Afterwards we will continue to clear along the marked road towards the old nato checkpoint. PHASE 4 ALL CALLSIGNS wil go firm at the old nato checkpoint and wait for the friendly armored platoon to relieve us.
Administration/Logistics
ResupplyAll teams will depart with a load that is expected to sustain them throughout the mission without support Emergency ressuply can be brought in by vehicle Rassau.
