Situation
Background InformationBritish Army patrols along the valley to push back against Insurgent forces. Find information from civilians or any enemy you encounter. Make sure you bring water, it's planned to be hot today.

Supporting Assets
British and US forces operate FOBs and COPs in the AO LONGBOW 81mm mortar support by US forces, in general support of elements in the AO ANGEL US MEDEVAC support available
Enemy Forces
Insurgent forces, mostly small arms equipped. Possible use of heavy assets such as mortars, RPGs and mounted or static machineguns.
Mission
TaskingPatrol along route, stopping at potential interest points to investigate insurgent activity. If contact with insurgent forces, push to neutralize or eliminate. Gather and report intelligence about insurgent capabilities, found or seized assets are to be marked for collection or destruction by supporting assets.
End-state
Forces are to regroup back at base once patrol is complete, if unable to complete the patrol on time allotted, return to a friendly base.
Execution
Commander's IntentIntent is to visit all POIs, talk to civilians and find any possible information on insurgent forces
Tasks and Sequencing
PHASE 0 ALL CALLSIGNS will ensure sufficient combat load on person and in their vehicle to sustain operations for the duration of the mission. PHASE 1 After brief ALL CALLSIGNS will mount up in Jackals and prepare to step off. ROOKIE squad will patrol from POI-1 to POI-8, making contact with civilians and rooting out any possible insurgent threats. Jackals are loaded with water bottles for distribution to civilians. Convoy order: ROOKIE 1-1 ROOKIE 1-2 and ROOKIE 1 ROOKIE 1-3 Convoy settings: Default - 60-50 In villages- 30-30 IMPORTANT: It's vital that we do NOT lose any of our vehicles, they will only be used as transport and left in a safe location in case of contact Action on contact: Push through, dismount and return to the contact on foot.
Administration/Logistics
ResupplyALL CALLSIGNS will cross the LD fully loaded according to the units SOP. These supplies will come from the staging area. This basic load is expected to sustain the team throughout the mission, without support.
Medical
Medical support will be conducted in field (PAK in Field) ANGEL MEDEVAC on standby incase of potential Masscas.
Rules of Engagement
Fire only when fired upon. Insurgents are suspected to be intermixed with the civilian population.

81mm mortar provided by LONGBOW and authorised via CROSSROAD H, in accordance with SOP.
