Situation
Background InformationUS Marines Landing support element is deploying forces and equipment in the captured island. Weapon and Vehicle trials will be conducted once equipment is delivered to ensure operational effectiveness and showcase US capabilities. Friendly Forces
Made from elements of the Combat Support Services Company HAMMER 1 is deploying after the combat forces have cleared the island. Equipment affected consists of 1 LCC-1 for ship to shore transport and 4 HEMTT support vehicles in flatbed configuration.
Supporting Assets
ROMEO Platoon is remaining on the island, providing security and conducting patrols to search for any enemy forces left on the island. LPD and surrounding fleet will stay in position to conduct airspace denial and provide assistance to elements deployed.
Enemy Forces
Soladi Forces are supported by CSAT members, giving them access to armoured vehicles, attack helicopters and heavy weapons such as MANPADs or man-portable AT missiles. The island of Tuvanaka has been evacuated of all civilians, with it being used as training grounds for the Soladi forces. Recent combat has seen most forces fall-back from the island with most of their heavy assets believed to have been destroyed or evacuated. The presence of some infantry forces is expected in the north of the island with dense forest coverage.
Mission
TaskingHAMMER 1 is to find a suitable location for shore logistics operation within the western coast of the island. Refit the airfield to support USMC operations and establish a FOB to support stationed forces. Conduct vehicle and weapon trials on the island : AAV-9 Mack, M-ATV AT (LOAL)
End-state
Once all taskings are complete HAMMER 1 is to return to the LPD with their assigned vehicles. Vehicles and equipment used for trial will be left at the FOB as follow on forces will continue measuring their effectiveness.

Commander's IntentThe intent of this mission is to support Romeo platoon by setting up a logistics backline
Tasks and Sequencing
PHASE 0 we will load up an LCC with: 2x AAV-9 MACK and AAV-9A1 MACK 2x M-ATV AT (LOAL) 1x M-ATV LAAD and another LCC with: 4x logistical hemmt at direction of logistics chief PHASE 1 we will find a suitable landing area for the LCCs and commence logistic operations from there PHASE 2 both teams will work together to clear the airfield of any disabled or destroyed vehicles afterwards hammer 1-1 will start building up a FOB under direction of logistics chief. PHASE 3 both teams will move to a nearby firing range with newly received vehicles for testing ahead of deployement with the main fighting force.
