Situation

Background Information
Following years of internal conflict with militias and insurgents, the legitimate government of The Republic of Veridia has requested UN military assistance. In response The 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit was sent to the region to stabilize the island After destroying the logistical base to the south it's time to push north and relieve the siege of Ekspor and by doing so encircling the northern part of the island. As a part of a bigger operation we have 1st Platoon pushing to liberate Parit to the north east and the 2nd Recon Section covering our flank to the west. The enemy is expectant of our push but with their supply lines disrupted, momentum is in our favor. Friendly Forces
ROOKIE 1 Marine infantry squad of the 31st MEU

Supporting Assets
1st Platoon operating in the northeastern AO. 2nd Recon Section covering the west flank of our AO. 2nd Supply Section tasked with establishing a forwards logistical base and handling all resupply for forward elements.

Enemy Forces
What started as a group of militias has now grown into a semi-organized paramilitary force. Equipped with Soviet-era weapons and vehicles they still rely on hit and run tactics and ambushes. Expect guerilla warfare, fortified compounds and ambushes. The enemy fields technicals and occasional Btrs, no known air capabilities and very little to non heavy armour. The enemy is undersupplied from the destruction of their regional supply base and expectant of our push.


Mission

Tasking
Relieve the siege of Ekspor by destroying enemies by the outskirts of the town. The enemy is expected to be holding down in Tambang dua, a mining town and in an abandoned FOB and a nearby construction site.

End-state
Siege of Ekspor relieved All enemies neutralized in the AO


Execution

Commander's Intent
Intent is to clear out all hostiles between the town of Ekspor and the construction site

Tasks and Sequencing
Team Roles: ROOKIE 1-1: Maneuver / External security ROOKIE 1-2: Point element / Breaching ROOKIE 1-3: Base of fire / Target of opportunity elimination PHASE 0 ALL CALLSIGNS will ensure full combat load and stand by for briefing. Note: Combat engineer is to bring a shotgun for advantage in CQC, as well as explosive charges for the ability to create entry points in walls and destruction of any potential caches. PHASE 1 1. ALL CALLSIGNS will conduct final checks and move to RP-1 2. ROOKIE 1-3 will set up at BOF-apple, while ROOKIE 1-1 and ROOKIE 1-2 move to RP-2 and assault the town of Tambang Dua via 1-1 AP and 1-2 AP respectively If sightlines are poor ROOKIE 1-3 can instead set up at 1-1 AP 3. After clearing Tambang Dua, ROOKIE will assault the northern camps from the east. ROOKIE 1-3 will set up at BOF-banana while ROOKIE 1-1 & 1-2 assault the camps. 4. Once camps have been cleared, ALL CALLSIGNS will rally at RP-3 and prepare to attack the FOB area. PHASE 2 1. ROOKIE squad will move to assault the camps east of fob tinggi 2. ROOKIE 1-1 & 1-2 will assault the camps along the trenchline, while ROOKIE 1-3 covers the FOB's eastern entrance and provides BOF close to BOF-Cherry After clearing the trenches, ROOKIE 1-1 & 1-2 will rally at the eastern entrance. 3. Combat engineer will open up a wall on the north-eastern side to allow ROOKIE 1-3 to provide BOF through the hole. Once opening has been created and ROOKIE 1-3 is in position, ROOKIE 1-1 & 1-2 will make entry into FOB Tinggi 4. After breaching, ROOKIE 1-1 will clear the buildings to the south while ROOKIE 1-2 clears the cargo towers PHASE 3 1. ROOKIE 1-3 will mount the western cargo tower to provide BOF and engage targets in the Construction site while ROOKIE 1-1 & 1-2 clear the camps south-west of the FOB 2. After clearing the camps ROOKIE 1-1 & 1-2 will assault the Construction site 3. Once the Construction site is clear ROOKIE 1-1 & 1-2 will assault the camps to the south of the Construction site 4. Unless further contact is taken ALL CALLSIGNS will rally at the Construction site for ENDEX In the case we take excessive contact we will retreat to FOB Tinggi and set up defensive positions.

Resupply
Emergency resupply and LOGPAKs will be coordinated through CROSSROAD H and delivered by 2nd Supply Section.
