Situation
Background InformationExpected Level of Combat : ☆☆☆ Expected Level of RP: ☆ Expected Difficulty: ☆☆ Three-star rating: ☆ little to none expected ☆☆ decent amount expected ☆☆☆ Heavy emphasis / main focus of Operation Following years of internal conflict with militias and insurgents, the legitimate government of The Republic of Veridia has requested UN military assistance. In response The 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit was sent to the region to stabilize the island After capturing the F.O.B. and clearing the nearby construction site, Rookie 1 has been tasked with pushing south and clearing all enemies leading up to the city of Tiga. If successful it will open up supplies to Tiga and bring most of the Island under allied control.
Friendly Forces
ROOKIE 1 Marine infantry squad of the 31st MEU
Supporting Assets
1st Squad, 2nd Platoon is soft-clearing the villages leading up to the destroyed logistical base and holding the area until relief forces arrive. Meanwhile, 3rd Transportation Platoon is establishing a supply hub at the beachhead, and its 2nd Section has pushed up to the captured F.O.B. to handle frontline resupply. HMH-165 “Pegasus” is on standby for further logistical support.
Enemy Forces
What started as a group of militias has now grown into a semi-organized paramilitary force. Equipped with Soviet-era weapons and vehicles they still rely on hit and run tactics and ambushes. Expect guerilla warfare, fortified compounds and ambushes. The enemy fields technicals and occasional Btrs, no known air capabilities and very little to non heavy armour.
Mission
TaskingROOKIE 1 is tasked with pushing south from the construction base and clearing all enemies in the AO.
End-state
All enemies in the AO neutralized Supply route to Tiga cleared
Execution
Commander's IntentIntent is to clear out any hostile forces north of Tiga.
Tasks and Sequencing
PHASE 0 ALL CALLSIGNS will prepare combat load and get ready for brief Note: Combat engineers are to bring a shotgun for advantage in CQC, as well as explosive charges for the ability to create entry points in walls and destruction of any potential caches. PHASE 1 ALL CALLSIGNS will step off towards WP-1 and bound over to S-1 Once internal in the town, ROOKIE squad will clear through S1-S11 Where applicable ROOKIE 1-1 & 1-2 will take left and right sides respectively Upon clearance of all sectors and arrival of relief forces, ROOKIE squad will rally on S-5 for ENDEX
Administration/Logistics
ResupplyEmergency resupply and LOGPAKs will be coordinated through CROSSROAD H and delivered by HMH-165 “Pegasus”.
