Situation

Background Information
After the loss of the only LCC deployed in the AO during an incident on ship, all major movements from Marine forces have been on hold. Thankfully some equipment has been delivered and the airfield has been made operational, so the operation is not entirely compromised. A squad is dispatched to the smaller islands to search for and eliminate any threat they find in the area and stage equipment for surveillance around the main island.

Friendly Forces
Marine Corps Squad mounted in Combat Boat.

Supporting Assets
Fleet will remain in their positions as repair to the welldeck continues. Air operations will pick up any slack in logistics, we are also expecting more arrivals now that the airfield has been rendered operational.

Enemy Forces
Soladi Forces are supported by CSAT members, giving them access to armoured vehicles, attack helicopters and heavy weapons such as MANPADs or man-portable AT missiles. We have little intel regarding their presence onto the target locations. Soladi Forces still have a large maritime presence with both transport and combat boats. If present in target locations, expect infantry in dug-in or old bunker positions.


Mission

Tasking
The squad is tasked with gathering intel on the designated islands, identifying civilian or military presence. Secondary is the deployment of surveillance equipment at key locations.

End-state
On mission complete, the unit is to return to the LHD, with contingency landing onto the Tanoan Separatist controlled Island to the South West.


Execution

Commander's Intent
Intent is to scout the smaller islands and set up the surveillance equipment.

Tasks and Sequencing
Movement will not cross into the soladi forces controlled area General plan for all islands will be the same 1. Scout the island out before landing and find a secure LZ 2. Landing will be commenced once a suitable LZ has been found 3. SEALION will do a general search of the island, prioritizing any previously located POI 4. Get picked up by KINGFISH 1-3 and move on to the next island. Additionally on Barracuda and Clownfish the support engineer will deploy the surveillance equipment In the case of incoming boats, KINGFISH 1-3 is to place themselves in between them and the islands in an attempt to ward them off


Administration/Logistics

Resupply
Supplies will be carried in crates in KINGFISH 1-3, the support engineer is in charge of ensuring these crates do not get left behind. Repairs to KINGFISH 1-3 will be done by the support engineer.

Medical
Medical support will be conducted in field (PAK in Field) The primary means of MEDEVAC is by AIR conducted by EPSILON CALLSIGN and requested via Bunker .

Rules of Engagement
If Soladi forces are encountered on the island, we will try to get them to leave without escalating the situation. Under no circumstance should we fire at the Tanoan Separatists within the purple marked no fire zone.

Fire Support Plan
Ship Fire support : UNAUTHORISED - This would increase the scale of conflict and trigger a response from Soladi forces
