Situation
Background Information
On the day of November 30th, 1939, the Soviet Union invaded Finland. The Finnish army valiantly defended against the vastly larger Red Army, but in the end had to cede territory to remain independent. This conflict came to be known as the Winter War.
A Few days ago, the German army initiated its invasion of the Soviet Union, so today, 25th of June 1941, we will take the opportunity and take back that lost land, showing the Soviet Union what the Finnish soldier is made of, and begin the so-called Continuation War.
Panssaridivisioona(Armoured Division) under the leadership of Colonel(later General Major) Ruben Lagus is the spearhead of the offensive into the Karelian Isthmus, being the only Finnish armored unit.
