Situation
Background Information
The year is 1968, the USA never deployed to Vietnam. The USSR took the fall of Southern Vietnamese forces as an opportunity to forward deploy troops and reinforce their position in the Vietnamese peninsular. The PSRV welcomed this with arms open. Last week the PSRV formally invaded Laos and Cambodia, both nations governments quickly fell and both PSRV Forces and USSR Forces have begun reinforcing the area. Our Intelligence assets in the region believe that they may be staging for an attack on either Australia or The Philippines. This CANNOT happen
After securing our foothold on the island of Hon Ba we are planning on beginning our attack inland to close our lines towards the US forces. We plan to capture ourselves FSB Quan Loi for future use in upcoming operations

Enemy Forces
Mission
TaskingThe Unit is Tasked with first capturing FSB Quan Loi and the Communication base (OBJ - Koala and Platypus) before proceeding up river through OBJ - Emu and Kangaroo both known hostile strongpoints. Finaly we will capture OBJ - Wombat a heavily fortified base defending river fork and all inland rivers.
End-state
Mission Success if OBJ - Koala and OBJ - Wombat are secured
Execution
Commander's IntentIntent is to move between different objectives using boats in order to secure this portion of the river.
Tasks and Sequencing
PHASE 1 - Platypus & Koala 1. STINGRAY will dismount at LZ-Alpha 2. STINGRAY 1&2 move to AP-1C and AP-2C respectivaly along WP-A&B and assault OBJ-Platypus 3. Upon clearance STINGRAY 2 will set on BOF-2D to allow STINGRAY 1 into OBJ-Koala FOB 4. Once STINGRAY 1 is in the FOB, STINGRAY 2 will initialize movement to the port at OBJ-Koala 5. Once OBJ-Koala has been cleared, STINGRAY will rally at RP-Bravo to mount up in boats brought up by friendly forces PHASE 2 - Emu 1. STINGRAY 1&2 will dismount at LZ-Delta and LZ-Charlie respectively 2. STINGRAY 1 will set at BOF-1A while STINGRAY 2 maneuvers to assault along AP-2B into OBJ-EMU PHASE 3 - Kangaroo 1. STINGRAY will dismount at LZ-Echo 2. STINGRAY 1&2 will move along their designated routes to their Assault points and assault OBJ-Kangaroo 2.5 If the town next to the LZ is occupied STINGRAY 1 will assault it and STINGRAY 2 is to attempt to maneuver around it. PHASE 4 - Wombat 1. STINGRAY 1&2 will dismount at LZ-Echo and LZ-Golf respectively 2. STINGRAY 1&2 will clear their designated zone and any contacts near them
Administration/Logistics
ResupplyALL CALLSIGNS will cross the LD fully loaded according to the units SOP. These supplies will come from the staging area. There will be be some items stored in the boat for a quick resupply RRR for EAGLE 5 will be available back at base
Medical
Medical support will be conducted in field (PAK in Field)
