Situation

Background Information
Background On July 10th 2035, Takistan launched an all-out invasion into Ardistan. First few days, the Takistani army progressed without much resistance, but that changed in late July, when the defenders stopped the invaders at the Garvani river. Ardinistan asked Russia for help. On August 3rd President Makarov authorized the deployments of several battalions, including the 72nd Separate Special Purpose Battalion, 3 days later the mass armada steeped into Takistan, their objective is to find and either eliminate or capture top Takistan military officials, code named Змея (Snake). The Takistan supreme commander General Rashid Kareem Al-Nassar has been assigned Snake 0. WARNO Monday, August 6th 2035 Russia-Takistan Border епископ (Bishop) Platoon crossed the border over the mountains early in the morning and have set camp overlooking the auxiliary airfield near Kushkak. Just south over the river, a HVT compound is located, believed to be the the home of one of the Змея. епископ mission is clear, cut off his way of escape via the air, and capture or kill the HVT. Eliminating long-rage AA will give Bishop platoon access to the Orion UAV. Once HVT is secured, bishop is to link-up with ground troops at the border checkpoint. --- UAV operator is free to chose from the drones in the arsenal - there are no resupplies, so use them carefully; - Crocus - Raven - Honeybadger - Drone40 --- At the same time as us, the following operations are underway: - Ground invasion is coming from the east (endex meet up) - Naval invasion of Mantiq - Air Assault on the Rasman Airfield --- NOTE: MISSION REQUIRES EITHER NORTHERN SAHARA CDLC OR ITS COMPAT DATA LOADED

Mission

Execution

Commander's Intent
PRIMARY OBJECTIVE: Capture or kill General Rashid Kareem Al-Nassar, callsign "SNAKE-0". SECONDARY OBJECTIVE: Destroy enemy air and anti-air assets. TERTIARY OBJECTIVE: Destroy or entrap enemy ground assets.

Tasks and Sequencing
PHASE-1: Our platoon will equip and brief north of "[OBJ] Silver" (an auxiliary airfield) before moving weapons-amber to "AP-0". We will then conduct a surprise attack on the objective in order to destroy any enemy air assets and anti-air assets in the area, before moving to secure "[OBJ] Gold" (potential "SNAKE-0") location. PHASE-2: BISHOP will plant mines to cover our movement eastwards from "[OBJ] Gold" whilst seeking to destroy further enemy anti-air and ground assets. PHASE-3: BISHOP will assault and destroy enemy defenses in order to aid and regroup with allied ground forces assaulting from the east.

Administration/Logistics

Resupply
THERE will be no logistical resupply available and BISHOP will be expected to carry as much as required for the mission at hand, preserving supplies where possible.

Medical
PAK IN FIELD WILL BE ENABLED HOWEVER SUPPLIES ARE LIMITED.

Rules of Engagement
WE WILL ONLY HAVE THE FACILITIES TO ACCOMMODATE THE CAPTURE OF "SNAKE-0". ANY OTHER CPERS SHOULD BE LEFT IN-FIELD FOLLOWING APPROPRIATE SOP
