Supporting Assets
- The rest of the second platoon is stationed to our east and will push south with us simultaneously in their respective AO. - VMFA-451 (“Viper”) is available for immediate CAS and air superiority support. - HMH-165 (“Pegasus”) is ready for logistical support and CASEVAC.
Enemy Forces
What started as a group of militias has now grown into a semi-organized paramilitary force. Equipped with Soviet-era weapons and vehicles they still rely on hit and run tactics and ambushes. Expect guerilla warfare, fortified compounds and ambushes. The enemy fields technicals and occasional Btrs, no known air capabilities and very little to non heavy armour. They have taken hold of old trenches and bunkers in the AO and made them their own. They might have something hidden in the airport's hangars. Reinforcement from the airport and immediate area is to be expected.

Tasks and Sequencing
For the purposes of the map: - Blue markers are to be followed by TEMPEST 1-1 - Red markers are to be followed by TEMPEST 1-2 Note: LIGHTNING 3 will move and act independently unless otherwise coordinated by TEMPEST 1 they will prioritise targets in the following order: - Immediate threats to TEMPEST 1 - Enemy IDF support assets - Enemy armoured vehicles - Other enemy activity OBJ CASTLE- Shaping - LIGHTNING 3 will launch from the STARTEX location and provide observations as available. - TEMPEST 1-1 will move via their waypoints to set up at BOF BLACKBIRD. - TEMPEST 1-2 will move via their waypoints to set up at BOF CROW. OBJ CASTLE- Attack - TEMPEST 1-1 will move through the buildings in OBJ CASTLE and set up at BOF GREAT TIT - TEMPEST 1-2 will remain at BOF CROW and provide cover. If the tactical situations dictates, they will move to BOF MAGPIE and act as a blocking force to isolate the objective or enter the objective to assist in clearing. OBJ BASTION- Shaping - TEMPEST 1-1 will initially remain in the area of BOF GREAT TIT and perform a deception attack supported by LIGHTNING 3. It is critical that they do not become decisively engaged. LIGHTNING 3 will target crew served weapons and vehicles on the objective. OBJ BASTION- Attack - TEMPEST 1-2 will move via their waypoints to WP4B where they will make use of the natural cover to close with the enemy positions. - Once TEMPEST 1-2 begins engaging OBJ BASTION, TEMPEST 1-1 will move via their waypoints and WP4B to act as a reserve force for TEMPEST 1-2. OBJ BASTION- Defence - TEMPEST 1-1 & TEMPEST 1-2 will dig in in the area of BOF RAVEN. The positions may move as dictated by the tactical situation. - LIGHTNING 3 will proceed as per the prioritisation framework above.
