--- OPERATIONS ORDER ---
Situation
Background InformationIntel suggest that after the joint force push against Khan Bani Saad Airfield Islamic State has started preparations for a large scale counter attack against the stationed forces. Allowing this to happen would push back our efforts a great deal, worst case in scenario completely out of Diyala. This must not happen. In the evening a quick response team of SAS are being scrambled in attempts to sew the seeds of chaos within the attacking towns which have been labelled to be northern towns, Al Ubaidy and Rasheed.
Friendly Forces
1x Squad sized groups of SAS Operatives 1x Boeing AH-64 Apache Gunship
Supporting Assets
Our contacts with the Desert Hawks have agreed to smuggle two non-standard tactical vehicles into the compound, guarded by two of his men disguised as Islamic State, in an area designated by the Squad Leader which can be used in-case of emergency.
Enemy Forces
WE ARE AWARE THAT THE ENEMY COULD HAVE ACCESS TO THE FOLLOWING: SMALL ARMS ANTI-TANK ARMS NON-STANDARD TACTICAL VEHICLES LIGHT ARMOUR MEDIUM ARMOUR STATIC ANTI-PERSONAL WEAPONRY TROOP TRANSPORT HELICOPTERS LIGHT-ARMED ATTACK HELICOPTERS
Mission
TaskingWe have identified a small power station that is used to power the towns occupied by Islamic state. The group needs to move to the identified power plant clear out any enemies and move to the power-station within the compound and set chargers or find a way to shut down the power station which is located at FOB Al Jaraah. Once the Power Station has been disabled the towns will be a lot easier to move through. Rasheed is much more heavily fortified so it is recommended to clear through that first. Once bother towns have been disrupted the team may extract either on foot or via vehicles provided by the Desert Hawks. IMPORTANT: Both towns do not need to be cleared out completely only efforts which could contribute to a strong counter attack must be disrupted!
End-state
Mission Complete Conditions: Once both towns are disrupted to the state where any Counter-Attack from both towns will be severely weakened or called off. Mission Failure Conditions: Main objectives are not met and team are either KIA or retreating.
