Situation

Background Information
To complete a presence patrol North West of FOB JACKSON. Investigate potential Taliban activity in the town of TADZHAK. Secure the local towns from the Taliban.

Mission

Tasking
Presence patrol to the north west of FOB JACKSON.

End-state
Securing the towns and supplying aid to the locals.

Execution

Commander's Intent
The purpose of this mission is to secure the area around the friendly towns and the FOB. This will help us push the Taliban out of the area and keep it secured. In turn, we will be able to get the locals on side.

Tasks and Sequencing
- BRAVO 1 AND 2 WILL BE INSERTED TO FBO JACKSON via the 2x troop transport MAN trucks. - DELTA WILL BE PROVIDING A BASE OF FIRE WHEN NEEDED. - BRAVO WILL COMPLETE A PATROL FROM FOB JACKSON TO TADZHAK. - BRAVO WILL CLEAR THE ROAD AND VILLAGES OF IEDS - DELTA WILL SUPPORT WHERE NECESSARY EVERYONE PAR FTL, AR AND CLS WILL NEED A MINE DETECTOR DO NOT ENTER HOMES/BUILDINGS UNLESS IT HAS BEEN CONFIRMED THAT THE TALIBAN ARE IN THEM SIDE-OBJ - FIND ANY INTEL THAT WILL AID OUR EFFORTS IN FUTURE MISSIONS INTEL When we were last at FOB Jackson we took a lot of fire from the North West. Koti had some Taliban in that were neutralised. We had a truck smuggling ammunitions that came from TADZHAK to YARKANAY. Which was a known smuggling town that the Taliban used. They would transport it via the tunnels that lead to the East side of the Valley. Multiple Armed individuals spotted at TADZHAK.

ROE MUST BE FOLLOWED AT ALL TIMES. THIS WILL BE SET PERMANENTLY TO - ORANGE. JUST BECAUSE THEY HAVE A GUN DOES NOT MEAN THEY ARE HOSTILE. CIVILIANS ARE CURRENTLY PERMITTED TO OPEN CARRY FIREARMS.
