Situation
Background InformationAfter the attack on Khan Bani Saad airbase our forces counter attacked back towards the town of Khan Bani Saad proper. While the counterattack successfully pushed the enemy forces away from the airbase, we did not manage to push into the town. Today's mission will consist of securing and holding the edges of town in preparation for a final door-to-door push into the town. The village of Riyadh lies between us and Khan Bani Saad and must be secured and held if we are to push Daesh out of this area for good.

Friendly Forces
1x mechanised platoon consisting of 2x Infantry squads 3x FV432 APC 1x AW101 Logistical support
Supporting Assets
Friendly AAF forces are holding the airport secure while we advance into enemy sectors. If need be they can assist with IDF support.

The enemy has been dug in here for a while now so expect heavily entrenched positions. We expect the enemy to have access to the following: SMALL ARMS ANTI-TANK ARMS NON-STANDARD TACTICAL VEHICLES LIGHT ARMOUR MEDIUM ARMOUR STATIC ANTI-PERSONAL WEAPONRY STATIC ANTI-VEHICLE WEAPONRY STATIC ANTI-AIR WEAPONRY Possible mortar and artillery support
Mission
TaskingThe unit is to rush with force across open ground into the outskirts of Riyadh. Here they are to take out any and all opposition, secure sectors and take defensive positions. Expect counter-attacks and/or reinforcements from the town to the NW and from the 2 refineries to the North and West of town.
End-state
After clearing the town, repelling any counter-attacks; await the arrival of friendly AAF forces and return to the airfield for debrief. In the event that the town cannot be held, fall back to the aquaduct.
