--- OPERATIONS ORDER ---
Situation
Background InformationFollowing a hard assault into Virolahtie and a now-secured Airfield as base of ground operations, it is time to start securing more land and enforce a stronger foothold in the region. Several enemy key points of interest have been reconned to the North of the Airfield along with a small enemy port area with coastal defences to its South.
Mission
TaskingCoalition forces will assault North to secure hostile territory threatening our position at the Airfield. Hostile FOBs Quebec and Romeo are fortified positions and will be expecting attack. A vehicle depot between them has been seen to be servicing enemy light armour and will assist Russian forces until taken care of. The town of Sydänkylä is Russian-occupied and will provide the enemy with reinforcements during the engagement. A further town (named Skippari) may be assaulted as a stretch goal, should previous objectives be completed in good time. It is important that the Coalition learns as much as possible about the enemy force in the region, so intelligence-gathering and POW capture are high on our list of priorities. Primary Tasking -Assault and secure FOB Qebec -Assault and secure FOB Romeo -Neutralize hostile Vehicle Depot -Secure town of Sydänkylä Secondary Tasking -Gather intelligence on Russian deployment in the region -Secure town of Skippari
End-state
Once the area around the town of Sydänkylä has been secured friendly forces will move to occupy and UNITAF teams may return to the Airfield for ENDEX or find a suitable area within the town itself.
