Situation
Background InformationOur SF forces identified the ANP personnel distributing the arms to the insurgent cells, and in doing so uncovered an impending attack on Zargabad. We have been sent to the area as security to the city and provincial leaders still loyal to us.

Mission
TaskingWe are set in the FOB north of Zargabad, ANA has alerted us to an attack underway to our south. We are to push into the town, secure HVTs where able or at least their bodies. Protect the area from the insurgent onslaught and repel the aggressive assault from the opposing forces.
End-state
Insurgents retreating into the mountains, HVTs secure, Zargabad safe.
Execution
Commander's IntentPrimary goals are: 1. Secure and extract 2 HVT's. The prime minister of Zargabad and Member of Parliament. 2. Secure a defensive locations to repel the insurgents attack on Zargabad. 3. Advance and clear Zargabad of insurgents.
Tasks and Sequencing
Phase 0 to 1 - CASTLE 1, Will clear the Provincial Palace - CASTLE 3, Will provide security round Provincial Palace - CASTLE 2, Will establish OverWatch SW of the Provincial palace - LONGBOW, Will provide Recon - ANVIL, Will provide support where needed. Phase 1 to 2 - All CASTLE's will find a good position's to dig in and hold a town and deal with any civilian an enemy presence. - ANVIL, Will hold the outskirts of the town from any flanking maneuvers. - LONGBOW, Will provide Recon
