--- OPERATIONS ORDER ---
Situation
Background InformationWith the intel that has been found in previous missions, we have managed to decipher a small portion of it. This has pointed towards a shipment of weapons to be delivered to a port on the western seafront of Kapaulio. We believe this is an effort to boost their defensive capabilities near Ubomo, one of their bigger cities in the region that is currently under resistance control.
Friendly Forces
1x Special Forces Squad 1x Recon/CAS Littlebird (Pilot and Observer)
Enemy Forces
- Skeleton resistance presence possessing small arms and light machine guns. Enemy troops have no NVGs. - Light vehicles - heaviest we will face is BTRs - No anti-air lock-on weaponry. Helicopter crew should however be wary of MGs. If stealth is broken, we can expect QRF from the south. The potential size of this QRF is unknown at this time.
Mission
TaskingUnder stealth, clear the three objectives on the West Coast, securing a munitions shipment and gathering intel about the defensive line south of the AO.
End-state
At ENDEX, we will have secured the shipment and eliminated other OPFOR presence at the defined objectives.
Execution
Commander's IntentThe purpose of this mission is to prevent a munitions shipment to reach the enemy defensive line. In order to do so, we will, under stealth, neutralise Port Hades, a weapons and fuel depot, and an outpost in the AO.
Tasks and Sequencing
Fox will proceed with our Polaris MRZRs to the AO, following the marked route. Fox will deviate from this route if necessary, whether due to OPFOR patrols or other factors that would compromise us or otherwise be mission-altering. Simultaneously with Fox moving up, Hawk will observe the AO and provide direct intel to Fox. Due to the nature of this operation, Hawk is asked to maintain high altitude and distance to the AO to avoid detection. Reaching OP1, Fox will evaluate the situation ahead, and alter plans if required. However, primary plan is to bypass OBJECTIVE FREYJA by moving north through a forested area and hit OBJECTIVE THOR first, looking for clues about the whereabouts of the shipment. We will then hit OBJECTIVE ODIN and then finally OBJECTIVE FREYJA. At all points are troops urged to look for intel and clues pertaining to the presence of the shipment as well as to the defensive line south of our AO.
Administration/Logistics
ResupplyWe will find our required resupplies in our MRZRs. Beyond that, we are on our own. For that reason, it is requested that all operatives pack with them what they will require, and maintain good ammunition and equipment management throughout this operation.
