Situation

Background Information
Civilian informants in the region of Anizay have let MI6 gather crucial information on the location of Said Shilman (codename COYOTE), a local warlord and weapons dealer who has been trading with the Talibans in the last year. An SAS detachment has been deployed on theater with the intent of eliminating COYOTE, to be inserted at the scene via HALO jump.

Mission

Tasking
Alpha Squad will establish contact with a civilian informant (codename WOLF), who will need to be escorted to the town of Seyyeddan, COYOTE's last known location. Once COYOTE has been located, he will be eliminated.

End-state
Coyote eliminated and the teams extracted to the nearby FOB or airfield

Execution

Commander's Intent
We will HALO from a C-130 Hercules, regroup then find our informant. He will take us to the target, and we will eliminate the HVT then extract.

Tasks and Sequencing
We will paradrop by HALO from a C-130 Hercules north of the village of Rangrezan and approach Obj A on foot. During this time we will be maintaining stealth so no contact with the civilian presence is paramount. Once we reach Obj A we will be escorting our contact "Wolf" to Seyyoddan Obj B. Where he will identify the house of the HVT we are after. Images of this man will be provided during the brief. Our task is to eliminate this HVT before he can do further damage in the region. Coyote and his bodyguards When we find our contact we are to use the pass phrase "That is not dead which can eternal lie." and our contact's response will be "And with strange eons even death may die." We will paradop on the designated zone north of Rangrezan then push through the fields towards Obj A. Once we find the informant he will take us to find Coyote's house in Obj B. Area of Operation
