--- OPERATIONS ORDER ---

Situation

Background Information
THE ANA FOB OBEH HAS COME UNDER ASSAULT DURING THE NIGHT AND IS IN HEAVY CONTACT, REQUIRING REINFORCEMENT FROM ANY NEARBY FRIENDLY FORCES THIS MORNING. THE FOB IS CURRENTLY SHORT OF MANPOWER AS YESTERDAY THEY LOST CONTACT WITH ONE OF THEIR LARGE PATROLS IN WESTERN REGIONS, SO OUR FIRST TASK WILL BE TO ASSIST IN SECURING THEIR DEFENCES BEFORE THE FOB IS LOST ENTIRELY. ONCE COMPLETE, WE ARE TO REPORT TO THE ANA BASE COMMANDER FOR A BRIEFING REGARDING HIS MISSING UNIT AND PROVIDE ASSISTANCE HOWEVER WE CAN UNDER THE DISCRETION OF OUR FIELD LEADER.

Friendly Forces
ONE PLATOON OF INFANTRY, WITH THE FOLLOWING ASSETS: - [2X] JACKAL 2 HMG - [2X] MAN HX60 4X4 TRANSPORT - [1X] LAND ROVER SNATCH FRR

Supporting Assets
REDUCED ANA FORCES IN FOB OBEH. ANA FORCES HAVE LOST RADIO CONTACT WITH 1X PLATOON PATROLLING IN THE AREA.

Enemy Forces
Details regarding OPFOR in this area is lacking. We assume heavier resistance to the north and East of FOB Obeh, as the FOB was attacked from those directions. The missing patrol is also assumed to have been assaulted somewhere to the East. The enemy is assumed to possess mostly small arms and technicals, though beware of RPGs, SPGs and IEDs. We do not expect heavier assets in great numbers, though OPFOR has access to BTRs and BMPs outside of the immediate AO.

Mission

Tasking
REINFORCE AND SECURE FOB OBEH, THEN SEARCH AND RESCUE THE MISSING ANA PATROL.

End-state
AFTER HAVING REPELLED THE ENEMY FORCE, FOB OBEH WILL BE FULLY UNDER BLUFOR CONTROL AGAIN AND THE MISSING PATROL WILL BE LOCATED AND BROUGHT BACK TO FOB OBEH.

Execution

Commander's Intent
SECURE THE FOB, LOCATE AND SUPPORT THE MISSING PLATOON AND ASSIST ANA RESTORE ORDER IN THE REGION.

Tasks and Sequencing
WARLOCK WILL MOUNT IN TRUCKS DRIVEN BY PHANTOM AT FOB NAUZAD. ALL ELEMENTS WILL MOVE TO ANA FOB OBEH THROUGH THE TOWN OF KHAS. ALL ELEMENTS ARE REQUESTED TO BE MINDFUL OF CIVILIAN PRESENCE WHILST PASSING THROUGH THE POPULATED AREAS. OF PARTICULAR INTEREST IS THE MOSQUE IN KHAS, WHICH IS OF IMPORTANT RELIGIOUS IMPORTANCE. THE FOLLOWING PHOTO WAS TAKEN BY A RAF FIGHTER FLYING OVER THE AREA YESTERDAY, AND SHOWS THE FOB LAYOUT AND SOME OF THE DAMAGE INFLICTED BY THE OPFOR ATTACK. WHEN ARRIVING AT FOB OBEH, WARLOCK AND OUTLAW WILL MOVE IMMEDIATELY TO REPEL THE ENEMY ATTACK AND SECURE THE IMMEDIATE AREA. PHANTOM WILL, AS FAR AS IS SAFE, ASSIST REBUILDING THE FOB TO THE BEST OF THEIR ABILITIES. ONCE THE FOB IS SUFFICIENTLY SECURED, COMMAND WILL THEN TALK TO ANA COMMANDER TO GATHER INTELLIGENCE CONCERNING OPFOR ACTIVITY IN THE AREA OF OPERATIONS AS WELL AS REGARDING THE ANA PATROL REPORTED MISSING. ONCE INTELLIGENCE HAS BEEN GATHERED, WARLOCK AND OUTLAW WILL MAKE HASTE TO LOCATE AND, IF REQUIRED, RESCUE THE ANA PATROL.
