Situation

Background Information
After initial success in establishing a presence along the road into Uzbin Valley, we will now push further into the valley to reach the ANA forces who are ever closer to annihilation. Reports have raised concerns in the roadways towards Aybak and Fadzall Kala. In an attempt to slow our advance Taliban bombers have placed IEDs along the roadways. This has had an effect on the local population, as Civilian Casualties have been reported.

Friendly Forces
-1x Infantry Squad with EOD Capability -Helicopter (Merlin HC3-A GPMG) logistics and Overwatch is advised to fly NAP, to avoid enemy anti-air.

Supporting Assets
ANA FORCES ARE ENCIRCLED TO THE NORTH EAST. UNLIKELY TO BE SEEN IN OUR AO.

Mission

Tasking
Clear the road through Aybak to Fadzall Kala. Eleminate any Taliban and clear any cave systems or fortified compounds that may be identified.

End-state
Reaching Fadzall Kala and allowing a passage through to the town. Reaching near to the ANA forces.

Execution

Commander's Intent
Following up on the last Sortie, we will be pushing further into uncharted Territory. We have received reports of IED Attacks in adjacent Villages.

Tasks and Sequencing
Disclaimer: All Elements are ordered to travel as light as possible to conserve Stamina. After Preparing their equipment, Vigil will be flown into the AO by Skylark, who will have finished their previous tasking by that time. After Landing at LZ Grape, Vigil is to start their patrol heading Eastwards. We have received reports of IED Attacks in the Area, and our main tasking will be to ensure the roads are safe for travel for the local populace. Stops are planned along the Villages in the Area, and Skylark will be available for Overwatch and Logi Tasking, wherever possible.

Resupply
Skylark is to carry Humanitarian Equipment and a standard Squad-sized Resupply onboard.

Medical
-PAK in Field enabled

Rules of Engagement
POWs / Detainees are to be reported upwards, and flown back to FOB by Skylark, if needed.
