Situation

Background Information
Battalion HQ has identified the location of the Oasis the Taliban and ISIS leaders are meeting at, not only that they also intercepted messages identifying the time of the meeting. An SF team has been deployed with the task of approaching on foot into visual range, taking the shot and eliminating at least one of these leaders. In doing so, hopefully rousing hostilities between the two factions and buying us time to get to the ANA.

Friendly Forces
1x SF team with Sniper/Spotter integrated 1x Helicopter for infil/exfil

Supporting Assets
A squad size patrol will be operating east of FOB Heartland available for support in a worst case scenario

Mission

Tasking
Infiltrate the mountains, assassinate one or both of the Taliban/ISIS leaders and escape. The mountains will likely be heavily patrolled so stealth is paramount until the shot has been fired. Once the rounds have been fired it is likely to attract attention, so rapid exfil is required. HVTs Taliban Warlord - Aziz Ravi "Red Barron" ISIS Lieutenant - Hassan Nadir

End-state
Eliminate at least one HVT (ideally both). Buy us time for the ANA. Exfil successfully.

Tasks and Sequencing
-Hunter will pack light and load up into Skylark. -Hunter will then be inserted into LZ bluebell by skylark either by landing or quickrope, due to difficult terrain. Skylark will then RTB for further tasking, likely in support of a squad sized patrol also operating in the area. -Hunter will proceed understealth north from LZ bluebell towards OP Rose and OP Lily. -Once near the OP's the sniper team will assess which they prefer for overwatch onto the oasis. Once setup the sniper team will overwatch the oasis and watch for the meeting between ISIS and taliban leaders while the rest of hunter provides security. -After the arrival of both leaders the sniper team will take out of of them with a single shot (shot distance ~1400m). If in the ensuing chaos the second leader can be eliminated that is ideal however the primary objective is to take out one HVT. -The hope is that, given intel suggests this meeting is to see how they may work together, the death of one leader will result in both sides turning on each other. Therefore it is ideal if hunter can exfil south without detection to avoid the shooter being identified as BAF.

Administration/Logistics

Resupply
There will be no resupply, hunter needs to carry all required kit with them

Medical
Hunter will be working isolated, therefore the integrated medic is the only available medical support short of exfil from the AO.
