Situation
Background InformationTHE SITUATION IN GERMANY HAS BEEN A STALEMATE FOR 4 MONTHS WITH NEITHER SIDE MAKING A MOVE. COMMAND HAS RULED THAT THIS HAS GONE ON LONG ENOUGH AND IS PREPARING TO ASSAULT OVER THE RIVER AND RETAKE TERRITORY LOST IN THE INITIAL SOVIET PUSH. IN PREPARATION FOR THIS, A US SF TEAM IS TO BE DISPATCHED TO SOFTEN UP THE RUSSIAN VANGUARD FORCES IN THE PATH OF THE ASSAULT, IT IS HOPED THAT THIS WILL RESULT IN EARLY SUCCESSES FOR NATO.

Mission
TaskingRECON THE ENEMY DEFENSIVE POSITION AND COVERTLY PLANT EXPLOSIVES ON ENEMY VEHICLES. PRIMARY TASKING: COVERTLY PLANT EXPLOSIVES ON ENEMY ARMOURED VEHICLES IN GROSS LIDERN. COVERTLY PLANT EXPLOSIVES ON THE ENEMY ARTILLERY BATTERY. DETONATE EXPLOSIVES AND EVACUATE ACROSS THE RIVER.

All targets destroyed and successful exfiltration across the river
Execution
Commander's IntentWe will swim across the river, plant charges on the artillery on timers, repeat on the Armour and use the explosions of the artillery as a diversion to exfil across the river.
Tasks and Sequencing
We will dismount push to the river bed, cross the river by human power. Then push south, and into the enemy territory using the woods/trees for concealment. Approaching from the south we will target the Artillery at the east objective before pushing west to eliminate the armour before exfil.
