Enemy Forces

Execution

Commander's Intent
The purpose of this mission is to continue our counter offensive and remove Soviet forces from the towns of Stocken and Oetzen. End state is that the two towns are under BLUFOR control and any Soviet QRFs or counterattacks have been neutralized.

Tasks and Sequencing

ORBAT KNIGHT 1 KNIGHT 9 ROOK KING BISHOP CASTLE KNIGHT 2 KNIGHT 3 From there KING will move on foot to the Coy AP1 and get ready to launch its offensive. Moving North, CASTLE and ROOK will move on their given routes to assault Sector A and Sector B respectively with KNIGHT providing moving cover if necessary and both platoons utilising concealment options where necessary. Once Sector A is clear, CASTLE will move to LRP1 and top up a platoon LOGPAK, whilst upon clearing Sector B, ROOK will continue into Sector C and clear it. Upon completion, ROOK will establish a defensive line in the NE of Stocken and prepare for enemy counter attack from the North and East with support from KNIGHT. Phase 2 Once rearmed, CASTLE will mount up logistical trucks at MU1 and move, with support from KNIGHT, through Riestedt to DM2. From there they will move to AP2 and commence assault on Sector D. ROOK will resist enemy counter attacks from the North whilst receiving LOGPAK at LRP2 again with KNIGHT supporting by covering North and against potential threat from Point STEAK. Phase 3 Upon capture of Sector D, CASTLE will move on foot to AP3 and commence their assault on Sector G, followed by Sector I and then Sector H. ROOK will, with support from KNIGHT, move North and assault Sector E, then Sector F, and Sector H. Sector H will be cleared by whichever platoon is in the best position to do so, and can be divided up if both platoons have completed their first two sectors at the same time. KNIGHT will support ROOK in gaining a foothold in Oetzen, then break off to cover potential QRF/OPFOR exfil routes, marked as Points: BACON, SAUSAGE, EGG, BEANS. ENDEX will be called upon capture and control of Oetzen.
