Mission
TaskingPassing through the Taliban Encircled position in Qal'ah-ye Kalan and Yarkanay we will focus our efforts at the area north of Koti. A mortar pit is known to be in place on the north side of Versek while a ISIS stronghold is located in the center of the city. There is also a tent village in the eastern valley. Within Versek North there is a more urbanized area with multistory buildings, containing bomb factories, vehicle depos and makeshift barracks.

BAF In control of the City of Versek and ISIS forces on the run.
Execution
Commander's IntentThe purpose of the mission is to eliminate enemy presence in the towns of Versek/Versek North with minimal infrastructure and civilian collateral damage. The end state is the elimination of enemy forces in the AO, endex position to be decided in the field.
Tasks and Sequencing
Starting at FOB Gravity, the orbat will move as one convoy towards dismount marker, staying north of the red line (marked west of FOB Gravity). Convoy order throughout: Bull 1,Bull 2, Bull 9, Eagle, Cyclops, Badger. Throughout the OP, each Bull vehicle will be attached to its corresponding HAWK element Hawk will mount up in attached Bull callsigns. Sector 1: On entering sector 1: Badger will divert to BOF-1 for overwatch. HAWK 1(marked in blue) will divert north to clear the tent village and the mortar pit. After clearing the latter, HAWK 1 will hold north of the mortar pit to screen for HAWK 2 & 3. HAWK 2 & 3 will work together to clear the IS stronghold, HAWK 2 will prioritise the southern buildings, HAWK 3, the northern buildings. if the mortar pit becomes active before HAWK 1 is able to neutralise it, Dragonfly will be tasked for destruction Sector 2 & 3: between sector 1 and 2, the orbat will reform in a convoy in the same convoy order as startex. On entering sector 2: Badger will move to BOF - 2 for overwatch. HAWK callsigns will move into and clear their assigned sectors. After securing Sector 2: Badger will stay at BOF - 2 or move to BOF - 3 depending on line of sight. HAWK callsigns will move into and clear their assigned sectors.
